For the past few days some of the comments that I've made on my hubs and some of the comments from visitors to my hubs have posted two or even three times. I've seen double posts in the comments section of other people's hubs, too. When I'm making the comment I know that I haven't clicked the "Post Comment" button more than once. The comments section on a hub doesn't look very good with all the "deleted" remarks in place of the duplicate posts or with the duplicate comments left in place.

I would check for a known issue post then post to the tech support forum if there isn't one.

When commenting today, I remember a comment I made posted twice on another's hub, not sure if it was on your hub, but I did see it post twice and deleted one of the posts as it was the same comment.  Is it better to delete the double posts or just leave them on there?  Wonder which is better.

I've been having similar problems in the forums.  When I post a comment, it tells me I already posted a similar comment.  But one does get posted.

Alicia, I noticed this today when I replied to a comment on one of my own hubs. I am almost certain I only hit the reply button once but my comment appeared twice .. And it didn't give me the normal option to 'edit or delete" the comment either. I have also seen a few repeated comments on other hubs.

This happened to me on my own article. I can't figure out how to delete them. I just thought it was because I was using a tablet. Did it happen to you on PC?

I was using my laptop today when it happened.  You can moderate your own comment by clicking "hide" and it will only be visible to you and no one else.  It will state that it is no longer visible.

Hi, everyone. Thanks for the responses. @TheDragonBringer - I'm using an iPad. If I want to delete a comment that I've made on one of my own hubs, before five minutes are up I can click "Edit" to get the Delete button. After five minutes I can click the "Moderate" button, as Faith Reaper says, to hide the comment.

Thanks you two. I was able to hide the extra comments. I am glad because that comment came from someone who came from Google, and had a question. I didn't want the comments to look bad!

I do not have double comments on my hubs. But I am witnessing repetitions of comments and even hubs in the daily newsletter that I get recently. They are informing me that a new hub has been created or a new comment has been posted twice in the same letter, that too just below the first intimation itself. I wonder why such things are happening nowadays. Today also I got two times for same post which I am showing below by copying from my mailbox.
