    I found this cewl gender detector online. All you do is paste a paragraph of what someone wrote, and it tells you if they're of male or female gender.

      Yeah, I was less impressed when it told me I was male.

        It really tells you're gender, and it was correct about mine.
        I see you write about a lot of male subjects
        Did you take from your hubs or what you wrote in the forums?
        To be accurate it needs a large amount of writing, and it's best if you use what you say casually, and probably not as well if you use an article you wrote. Articles are usually written more formally

          It didn't tell me my gender, so not, it does not 100% really tell a person's gender. Notice how they call it a "guesser"?

          And the subjects I write about are not "male". There is absolutely nothing about them that prevents a person from a vagina writing about them, nor does my interest in them make me "less female".  In fact most of the people I work with in this field are women.

            My Reply
            Gee, I didn't mean anything by it. As far as your hubs, I meant the subjects males would be interested in as opposed to a hub about sewing or absolutely gender neutral like mine are.
            I posted it for fun for anyone who wanted to look at it, because it was accurate with my writing, and gender, and believe me, I have --- trillions interest in anyone's vagina and won't give it another thought (please God)

    I gave it a try Monkey Shine. It guessed right for me male. At first I didn't use enough words and it guessed "European Male" but asked for more words which I gave. That was fun and interesting.

      Thank you Jodah, I'm glad you enjoyed it, and it guessed right

    I tried it out. My verdict happened to be a "European Male"

    Although the European bit was right.

      When I pasted your words into it, on the left is the informal genre, and that says you are a male
      Genre: Informal
        Female = 610
        Male   = 1346
        Difference = 736; 68.81%
        Verdict: MALE

      On the right is the formal genre which says you are female

      Genre: Formal
        Female = 865
        Male   = 818
        Difference = -47; 48.6%
        Verdict: Weak FEMALE

      Weak emphasis could indicate European. Meaning there is a weak chance that  you are a European female

      For the informal genre you need to type in at least 500 words, not from a hub
      Because in a hub we do write more formally

    It gave me "male". I used one of my health hubs as writing sample, so maybe that's the problem.

      Try just writing casually, and paste that into it, be sure it's at least 500 words
      I can't wait to seethe results of that

        I used another hub and it said "male". I used my profile and it said "male" as well. Maybe I'm more masculine than I thought tongue

          You're funny smile
          I guess it's not 100% accurate, but it's pretty good
