This has happened before, but I never brought it to anyone's attention, but I am now, due to the quality of my piece.  Yesterday I wrote "An Open and Shut Case of Bad Temper," which does not appear in my profile for In the Spotlight.  Can we correct this, please?

That happened to me to when a hub is featured but does not show up in my list to be placed in the highlight spot.  Mine was due to my photo size or something to do with the photo.  I changed out the photo and then it showed up.

You were right, I believe.  I tried several, then think I finally got a good pic.

Are you aware that Dreamstime and Shutterstock photos are not free - the reason they have a watermark is that they're copyright, and it's not legal to use them unless you pay.

Lots of other sites, too, Deb - photographers have this annoying habit of wanting to make a living from their work. smile

Fortunately, most stock images are not very expensive.  For example,  the top image on your Final Vows hub - the one with the Colorbox watermark - can be purchased for use for $12.50 (and they have a "buy three, get one free" deal, too.  But lots of other stock photo services have lower prices, if that is beyond your budget for a photo for a hub.

There are also a great many places where you can find images to use legally without payment - either licensed for commercial use under the Creative Commons or in the public domain.

Best of all, of course, is to use your own photographs - as you've done in many places on your hubs. Some of us are not good photographers, but obviously you've got both excellent skills and good equipment. Your bird photographs are amazing! In fact, you might want to think of selling some of your photos through stock image agencies - from what I've seen, the quality is there! smile

Meanwhile, on Legal Image Use in general, this page from the HP Learning Center may be helpful : http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/legal-image-use
Much of what it says will apply to any online use of other people's pics, not just to HubPages, so it's good to brush up on the copyright stuff.

            Hope this helps!

Deb, here is the link about legal photos.  I found that Pixaby has great photos and no attribution necessary, just type source as Pixaby.  http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/legal-image-use

Watermarked photos are not acceptable and illegal.

Deb, I wonder if it's because you're using a dreamstime photo with a watermark.

I've been working with assorted ones.  I think I finally found one that will work.

I usually use my own pics, too, but I didn't have that Scotsman for my poem.  I did learn about pixaby, though.  Thanks.
