I've been wanting to make my own video and I just discovered that I have the software already on my computer to do this. I converted four short videos into one and added captions and credits. It really is fun. Have you tried this?

Then I uploaded the video to YouTube and used it in a hub. The only trouble was that I had the radio playing in the background when I filmed (Linda Ronstadt, Blue Bayou) and the copyright infringement notice came up on the video. The removal tool left the video way too quiet.

Does anyone want to share suggestions or tips for future videos?

you can get copywrite free music easily enough with a SE search - even youtube provides them.

Yes I have tried it and it was very good though I have moved on to using Pro Show Gold which is a lot more advanced than the Windows Program.  It is also very reasonable to purchase.  I recommend it very highly.  It is something which most of the photographers in our local club use too.

Thanks Sallybea. I'm just getting started but when I get a little more experience with videos I'll give it a try.

I made a video and downloaded it on YouTube for my first hub, with music.
It was fun to do, but I haven't made any more for hubs.
They are nicer to watch with tunes, hope you find some, Peg.

Yes, the videos are much better with a music background. I'll keep looking.

I have YouCam and still haven't figured out how to make the audio work.
