I have a lot of hubs which need serious editing -_- Sometimes I just look back at my old hubs and say " What was I thinking when I wrote these? Why do I have a [redacted] up English in this one or this... Yeah I get myself, I'm a bit lazy to focus on things at time but geez I gotta hit myself sometimes big_smile

LOL! Me too. When i first wrote my hub, I wasn't in my right mind either. Editing almost 80% of them to get back to the right track

hehe, I think I will be editing at least one hub each day until I finish them because I want to focus on them and not just edit them to say that I did edit them.
Good luck with your editing! big_smile

Well if you are saying "What you were thinking when writing it?" that exactly means that you don't have interest and just want to increase the number of hubs on profile or something. I have seen number of hubers have big number of followers with less than 10 hubs.

I also started writing on hubpages because I was thinking it would be fun but no it is not fun, it also revolves around interest because if you have interest in something then you need just one spark and big blast will be done by you.

    I hope you understand.

I did actually had that in my mind but now I just want my hubs to be well written so I'm always trying to edit at least one hub until I get them all better!

It's okay to every now and then improve the hubs we have written or add to them for clearer understanding or better objectives.

I tweaked my hubs today and I did both major and minor edits. I started from the top, as what the HP team says --- so I saw an increase in hub scores that prettified my list.

I submitted one hub about religion yesterday and it was not featured for lack of quality. What I did was transfer it to my own blogsite and deleted it from HP.

I will be editing the rest of my hubs ( I only have 28 of them) in the next two days and see if I get a rise in numbers.

Have a good day everyone!  smile

You;re still better than me on this. I have about 40 hubs that need editing. Hope we finish these as soon as possible.
My hub score has seriously dropped within like 24 hours from 82 to 47! I can't believe this sad Gotta work on my hubs to make them comply with the new rules here.

Actually, finding things that need to be improved is a good sign of growing as a writer, and of learning more about online publishing.

Just jump in, add or improve content, create a better look and layout, and move forward.  Also, don't be afraid of deleting titles that are genuine duds.

As mentioned here, when a new Hubber starts churning out content just for the sake of adding new content, it's almost guaranteed that quality can suffer.  It's far better to create a handful of high-quality hubs in a longer period of time than to cram your account full of content that will ultimately cause all your traffic to decline.
