...where is this chant heard?
here?
HERE???
As the Constitution is being ignored...
As the people give their power to the federal government
And give up their power at the local level...
And accept despotism by way of…
As crony capitalism remains unchecked…
As unwise voting continues…
As….
Voting for career politicians…not voting for new blood unconnected to the shoestrings that the career politicians become connected to…
The system was designed for those who would go to Washington and then back to their own work. We should not have Senators in office for fifty years. Due to human nature, when they stay in so long, they become corrupted.
For instance, how did Harry Reid, (in office since 1987) acquire more than $15 million?
Unwise voting is not voting for those who will work for the people instead of against the people.
"We should not have Senators in office for fifty years. Due to human nature, when they stay in so long, they become corrupted. "
I agree.
...maybe getting rid of the Department of Education would reduce the amount of idiots. LOL!
Also:
* allow vouchers to allow fee choice for public schools.
* incentives for home school.
Conservatives always seem to have a problem with the idea of 'education' of the masses in principle, surely you are not allied with them?
I believe in the power of citizens to educate themselves and choose on a local level the best education they can find.
I am on the side of LIFE for America.
I also think Marco Rubio as President could resuscitate the country.
On the local level the best is often not very good.
At the state level they sure know what is best for you don't they. Take "Common Core" for example…
This govt. mandated program is replacing the volition of teachers and obliterating the art of teaching from the teaching profession.
Now everyone is bored… the children AND the teachers.
...good work putting the nation to sleep.
I don't we can change the fact that idiots vote for idiots.
But we certainly could work to change how long they remain in office.
The govt. really cares about LIFE for America..
Where is the evidence?
Americans put dolts in office. We deserve exactly what we get.
If the Federalist Papers are not introduced at any educational level, how are the people supposed to comprehend how our government should work?
If students are not exposed to classic philosophers / enlightened thinkers such as Plato, Hume, Locke, Montesquieu et all how are they supposed to understand human nature and how govt. and human nature must jive?
You think Govt. inspired "Common Core" will see to it? Why would they?
The enlightened thinkers reveal the power of the individual and the necessity of liberty for all.
...and how to recognize tyranny when it rises its ugly head.

When President Obama returned to his roots here in Ireland those who meet him believed that he is the light and the truth in a time of global darkness, how do Americans view the President?

So it's the final day. Let's be clear about the choice;Hillary Clinton is deeply unpopular. She may not be a nice person. There are so many negative reports about her, it is difficult to believe there is 'no smoke without fire.' However, some allegations are disproven, and most others are unproven...

Utopianism is that which can never be, because it is not based on what works on a realistic level. What works is based on human nature. Human nature is not perfect, therefore, we need to adapt to what is imperfect in man. Consider the reality that foreigners, if given the chance, will enter a...

While a 28th Amendment stating that corporations are not people and money is not speech would be ideal - how about compulsory voting? What if we used the carrot approach - say increasing tax-credits for voting in primary, mid-term/off-year, and local elections? The more active the...

It's just for chuckles, not a serious discussion. There have been countless Voter ID discussions and the 'anti's' are seldom able to support their opposition, but when I saw this tweet it brought a chuckle. The gist: apparently the UK government is now requiring an ID to vote. It also appears that,...

Would you support a voting boycott next election to insist politicians fix America's voting issues? We've already seen what happens when most of the country doesn't vote - but, we're still here. People on both political sides have talked about how our election process needs to be fixed, updated or...
