It's been a little less than exactly 10 months since I published my first featured hub. Today I published my 100th featured hub. It debuted with a high hub score. I kept up the pace of 10 a month.

Today I a giving myself a pat on the back. I expect I will have my first payout this month as well. (With a little help from my friends.)

It's a great day for celebrating.

Very well done.  I am impressed.  It certainly is a day well worth celebrating.  Well done on your first payout too, may it be the first of many.

Not there yet. My 100th hub is still in QAP, but it is looking like it will have a good score.  Also, I will have to keep my views steady from now until the end of the months and hope for good cpms to reach that payout goal. So I may be jumping the gun with this celebration.  Thanks for your good wishes.

Aw, wow, Catherine, that's fantastic. I feel like 100 hubs eludes me. It seems so far away. I hope to reach it next year.

You'll get there, Janshares. I'm retired and HP became my new full-time job.  That is how I did it so fast, even tho it takes about 8 hours for me to do a hub. I don't think I can keep up the pace.  I plan to drop back to about one or two a week, or maybe only when I have something I rally really want to write about. .

Wow! 100 hubs! Thats amazing! I would like to ask, how much does one earn on average on Hubpages? I am quite new here and am working to get my adsense account activated. I would like to know this because I am really enjoying hubpages and would like to make it a source of income. (Among others)

I wish I could answer your question, but it all depends. Some people do well, but most don't. Focus on writing really good hubs, focus on promoting them, and see where you are after about 6 months.  Good luck to you. For now, just continue to enjoy writing. That's how I got to 100.  I just had so many ideas for things to write about and I enjoyed producing the hubs.

word55: The 100th hub is "Atheists in the Pulpit. Hub Pages still has not put it on my profile page. They gave me my 100 hubs award on my profile page, but are being very slow about getting that 100th hub on my page. The Emerging Adult hub is currently at the top of the list, but that one is my 99th hub.

Congratulations Catherine! 10 hubs per month seems like a remarkable feat! 100 in less than a year certainly deserves a celebration! Go treat yourself smile
I look forward to the day when I will reach the 100 milestone myself, but it appears to be a slow journey.

Joyette: 100 hubs in 10 months was a lot of work, but it doesn't mean I can slack off. At least not for long.

Millionaire Tips: I dream of residual income.  I'm not counting on it tho.

That's great, Catherine! I remember the feeling of accomplishment I had when I got to that 100th hub. After that all the changes began, and I started writing on other sites. But now most of those sites are gone, and I've been moving what I wrote on them back here. I wish you continued energy and success!
