I'm hoping it's an update, of course, but expecting to be told it's a glitch... smile

All of my hubs are showing an unusually high amount of traffic too.  If it's real then that would be awesome but I guess I shouldn't hold out too much hope.

I don't dare hope either, but all the views are on the hubs I've been working on or promoting and their only slightly higher than my google analytics reports.  It sure would be nice if it wasn't a glitch.....

I have confirmed with our engineering team that there is a current issue affecting a short time period and is showing more views than are accurate.

We are working on a fix at this time and thank you for your patience.

The 'Total Views Ever' Stats are now going down, not up.

Aww, you could have at last waited until they finalized some earnings before reporting this.

Mine too. Not all of them, but several have more traffic than usual.

What scares me about this that I can't trust the stats HP provides anymore, so I don't trust the pay.  The views I am seeing now are the views I should be seeing.

It's sad that an increase in traffic is a bug.

Shoot!  That sea of red was lots more interesting than the one of blue.  Thanks a lot, David! smile

Lol and to think I got slightly happier seeing a bit of an increase. It didn't seem drastic though so maybe it didn't affect everybody equally.

I had to go look at my stats after reading this thread.
I am not seeing an unusual increase of traffic at all.
    Same old same old. Darn!

It doesn't make sense, since I have answers on some questions and no views reported....hmm

    Too bad!

For once my stats +/- matched my Google Analytics stats. Those generally are three times higher than Hub stats, which is not normal at all...

I just joined a week ago and I was so happy because the hub I'd been promoting was getting so amny views. I had over 1000 views and suddenly went down to 800-something but didn't know why. Guess I found my answer!

Eight hundred views sound good to me. Keep up the good work, and welcome to the site.

800 views in a week is indeed 'so amny views.' smile How have you been promoting your hubs?

I tend to type so fast that I type the letters in the wrong order. Sometimes I don't notice until it's too late tongue
But thanks! I did promote some of them. I shared my writing-related hubs with my writing groups on facebook, otherwise no I haven't.

Are we sure it's "Resolved?" Fyi, as of 2:36p (EST), my HP 1day stats are 40% higher than my GA stats.
