Google adsense accepted then declined few hours later

Today I got an e-mail from Google telling me my request fro an adsense account had been accepted and I was able to activate my ad program and the other earning programs a few days ago and I checked my earnings and found out I'd earned a couple of cents over the last three days.
Then I get a new e-mail 2,5 hours after Google told me they accepted me, and told me they'd reviewed my account again and had rejected me.
But according to Hubpages, my adsense account is still active.
So what does this mean? And will I have to apply for adsense again or will I just have to keep posting hubs and wait until they find my site worthy of their ads?
Also just to be safe I deleted a hub about dating because it had the word sex in it and I deleted another hub about marriage equality for the same reason. Was that necessary?

      Hi Wavie,

Are you still able to log into your AdSense account? You can try by visiting the Google AdSense Page and clicking the sign in link in the upper right.

Well when I try I just get the message that says something like thank you for your continued interest in the adsense programme, feel free to resend your application and blablabla. And when I go to the app it says no data. So what happens to the few cents I earned? And will I still be able to earn via the other programs?

          Hi Wavie,

We're going to check in with Google AdSense to find out what's going on here. It might take a couple days to get this resolved. Thanks for your patience and I'll let you know when we have more details.

              Hi Wavie,

The only details AdSense have given us is that it looks like the account was disapproved for invalid activity. If you think this has been in error, you can appeal the cancellation through AdSense here.

Invalid activity? If I don't appeal will I have to reapply in the future? And what will happen to the money I've already earned?

I am not sure. Unfortunately, the AdSense Team wouldn't give us any further details.

Is there a difference between the adsense program and the hubpages ad program? My stats say I still earn money via the ad program so will I still be able to earn from other programs than google after google has rejected me? Because according to google there is no data so I'm assuming the money has nothing to do with google?

Same problem here Christy, http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/131961. Please also check in with Google Adsense to see how you can help me.

Careful appealing too fast before investigating further; last I heard, you only get one appeal.

Some new people click on ads to find out if things are working, not realizing such testing is not allowed. If you (or anyone else connected with you, like family or friends) didn't do any invalid clicking on ads, ask yourself if you signed up using an email address or web property that might have been used by anyone else previously who had an AdSense account. There are tales in the Google help forums of people inheriting websites or email addresses that have a tarnished history and that history following the property to its new owners, resulting in their AdSense accounts getting nixed.

I did neither of those things. I was aware that you couldn't click on your own adds so I never touched them. Can't I just keep posting hubs and then apply again later when I have more content?

    Hi Wavie,

I don't know. I'd ask them.  Google works in mysterious ways, and about anything beyond what they say explicitly, we're all guessing.  For most of us, they are neither transparent nor predictable. Perhaps another person here has some experience with a similar situation. You also can post to the Google AdSense support forums.

Thanks, didn't know a forum like that existed.
