The following articles(see website below) provide proof that everything in the Christian religion and in
the bible has been STOLEN from other religions that predated it from all around the
world. Christianity is a tool for removing spiritual/occult knowledge from the
populace so this power can be kept in the hands of a few to manipulate and enslave
the masses.

I'm not going to click on a link to an unknown conspiracy site.
Why don't you tell us what this hidden spiritual/occult knowlege is, and we can discus it.
you're right not to click on it. It's a twisted mess. I was surprised how any-one could turn and twist such benign stuff, add their own filthy projections to it and try to project it onto their copied words. I do wonder how "pure" the writer/s of such a twisted mess that badmouth the testaments are themselves. Perhaps a strange way to try to justify their own inpurities, a pity to go about that in such a way.
surely you mean false Christians like jehovas witnesses?
2. do you have a faith/religion, or do you just like bad mouthing others?
It is true that some things - like the Crusades - were supposedly done in the name of Christianity, but I urge you to look at the true teachings of the Bible. God bless.
aye. the would be followers are often too busy writing their own story, and messing up the bits they know to actually be followers. the main concern is more will end up like this twisted mess -re. link/s.
The O.P. joined this site a whole two hours ago, apparently just so he/she could start this thread. Just sayin'.
....either way, this should be entertaining. I'm gonna go nuke some popcorn.
Religion is a man-made concept. Everyone who is aware of history knows that Christianity borrowed from pagan religions and factions of Judaism. The council of Nicaea instituted many of the rules and precepts of Christianity, pure and simple. In the Middle Ages, the Christian Church instituted many precepts in order to establish religious hegemony in Europe. They wanted to get as many converts as possible so they denigrated prior pre-Christian religions, persecuting its practitioners, persecuting those who had alternative views of Christianity a/k/a "heretics", and persecuted the Jews as they were viewed as absolute outsiders by the Christian powers that be.
All religions borrow heavily from or evolve out of earlier religions. In a way, all religions on earth can be traced back to the belief system practiced by the very first hominids. For example, burial of the dead is thought to be one of the oldest religious customs, fossil evidence shows humans have been doing it for at least hundreds of thousands of years. Christianity steals as much as any other religion. Don't stress about it, just chill.
to steal is to take without asking in such a way that the original owner did not consent, and suffers the loss to not be able to use. Here "steal" is thereby the wrong definition.
Much was learned in return from those wishing to convert, or taught through the ages as a necessity to society not necessarily connected to any particular religion.

Many get angry and hostile and the Christian premise that there is only one God.. Why? Christianity shares the promise of enternal life in heaven to all who choose Jesus. Why is that not appealing? Why are some so angry about Christianity?

Very rarely do I see a forum thread on Islam. I have not seen an atheist who has started a thread on Islam insulting Mohammed or Allah or just speaking out against them. Christianity and Jesus seem to be the target. I know it is because the US, for example, is considered a...
