When you need to vent ...

   I'm writing a hub at the moment that is basically just me venting about something I don't like. Everyone does this all the time I'm sure.
   
   For those who do, do you go back afterwards and make it better, so it's better quality rather than just crazy ramblings? How do you do that if it is something that gets you so worked up? Everytime i re-read what I've written I just get angrier and end up rambling some more!
   
   Any ideas?

      I wrote a poem in the heat of the moment, I thought about deleting it, but then changed my mind and added something at the bottom of the page. I think you should leave it, it just shows that we are human after all and that we sometimes get upset. hope this helps

         The simple way is to type your idea in NotePad. Look sat it the next day and make any changes. Do this as often as you feel you need it, then copy and paste into your blog just once.

      Lol. Totally understand you.
      I personally would write it but leave it until the next day before I publish it. Read it again the next day, make any last corrections and by then, you will know within you, that it's fine.

   I haven't really done any 'ranting' or 'venting' hubs but if I do, I'll leave it alone for a couple of hours (or a couple of days). Then I'll come back and re-read it. By that time, hopefully, I would have cooled off. As to the editing part, it depends, not on the quality, but on my need to expound or limit on certain areas. It is a personal hub (for me) and in this case, I think quality can take a backseat over my desire to let go of the bad feelings inside me. Hope your hub helped you let go of your anger. Good luck.

   I hear what youre saying and you obviously feel passinate about it ,so if it were me Id leave it.
   
   But youre not me , just be true to yourself.
   
   And hey you can always go back later n change /edit etc.
   
   Make sure youre happy with the URL  though , I usually wished Id thought of something different...but thats just me.

      I feel that is a degradation of your work....you were in a certain mindset during that period and you released your emotions accordingly. You can return to your work and glance at it as a reminder of that period in your life...if you alter that work after being in a different mindset you are essentially going back into time and altering events.
      
      As a person I feel you learn from your past...especially when the events are able to be placed before you in black and white. If anything has changed since this time you should start fresh and react to the events of the past on a new page. This allows you to elaborate on your developments from a past experience while still allowing the experience to remain intact as a previous page in your "book"... as it were.
      
      To provide another medium beyond writing...I have done many drawings while in a rather dark place...the content resulted accordingly. To me these drawings show a significant era of time in my life...granted they may not hold true to anything I am doing on this very day...but to go back and alter the drawings is not that far removed from placing a flame to them.
