    We all have a favourite nonsense song, if not a nonsensical song line.

    My favourite nonsensical line is "birthday party cheescake, jellybean boom" from It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine) by R.E.M.

      The song "America Pie," by Don McLean has lots of nonsensical lyrics. Here is one of my faves:

      When the jester sang for the king and queen
      In a coat he borrowed from James Dean
      And a voice that came from you and me
