What type of hubs would you guys like to read? I am stuck on ideas and want to produce hubs that people would like to actually read about. Thank you big_smile

It is not what we like to read, it is what the people who search on Google like to read that matters.  I would suggest writing about what you know...it can be anything from hobbies, jobs, travel, family, etc.

The best thing to do is try some different topics to see what people read and then follow along with that.  It will take some time, but I know of no better way of finding topics.  Good luck.

You're giving her a thoroughly misguided, and misleading advice. People who use and search the Google search-engine, they aren't robots. They get what's interesting and what's not.

No, you're misreading TT2's post!  Try reading her post again carefully, instead of skimming and imposing your prejudices on what she says.

Anyways, that was a good round up about the perfect way to create a hub on HubPages. :-)

      I would echo TimeTraveler2's advice.

If you're active on HubPages, reading and commenting on other Hubbers' Hubs, they will read yours -but our community here is really quite small, so that will get you only a few visits.   Most of your readers will come via the search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo).   So, if you want readers then you need to write about things that people are searching for on the search engines.

How do you find out what people are searching for?  The answer to that is a big topic, and it can get very frustrating because you'll soon find that all the most popular topics have already been written about at length!   So as TT2 says, I think the best thing is to think of topics that interest YOU, and think about what YOU know that would be of value to other people - then write about that.

I've been trying to be a good boyfriend for quite a long time. Hubs explaining such subjects would definitely get you my views! big_smile

I suggest tapping into what people need, what bothers them, what answers to questions elude them. What problems do people deal with everyday? My hub on dealing with annoying people gets traffic regularly because people annoy people everyday. We are constantly looking for answers to how to handle this irritation. My advice in summary: study human nature which never changes and tap into how to help people deal with it. Human nature produces evergreen topics. Good luck.
