I haven't made any changes to my hubs so far in response to the editbot - I started looking at them and decided not to bother. What might happen to my hubs if I ignore them?

Nothing. Corrections have been made. The corrections are reversible. If you ignore the whole thing the corrections stay in place.

Nothing has offended me so far. Some of those still loyal to HM The Queen were upset by American spellings. Given that I speak Tinglish most of the day, I could not care less (American is no worse).

Thanks Will & Jodah. I wasn't sure if I would be penalised for not reviewing them.

If you ignore them, the Editbot corrections have already been made, and they will stand. If you uncheck a correction, it will revert to the original. I only found one instance where Editbot made a serious error. I had mentioned Peter Noone of the 60s band Herman's Hermits; Editbot changed it to "Peter no one." I am glad I took the time to check the edits and change this one back.

I've been ignoring most of my editbot changes, so I'm glad it doesn't effect anything. The changes were generally in the comments anyway.

If you ignore Editbot you will have endless and growing numbers of 'bandaids' all over your articles. No changes are made to the original text. HP has already implemented phase two - 'grey' and 'orange' bandaids with more and more to come. HP has already talked about reversing Editbot 'errors', and changing the rules!!! This will become a nightmare when Editbot is run again and again.

I suggest that you make the edits to get rid of the bandaids by editing your original copy. See http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/133221

This does not necessarily mean accepting the Editbot change. For example, You can substitute 'appertizer' for 'entree' for example to avoid 'entrée'. Your articles will then be clean, healthy and bandaid free!
Be free of Editbot bandaids forever!

I haven't got the time so they'll have to stay there until I get round to it. Which might be never.

I have heard a rumor that if you ignore editbots your subdomain will disappear. Oh wait, that is another forum....

Was away from Hubapges for almost a year, and there are so many changes...Still trying to figure out what editbot is all about.
Thanks to this thread I know that I don't need to take immediate action for this...
