Hi,
This is my first ever message on this forum. I wish to improve on my first ever hub posted on Hubpage. It is going through QAP at the moment and is being rejected twice. I admit there were some grammar errors before and unclear messages. I did my best to correct them but I do wish someone else to give me some opinion. My hub is Introduction of the best natural food supplement - Royal Jelly, I would really appreciated if you can give me your opinion.
Thank you so much in advance.
Richard
I have published my article again about 30 seconds ago. Hopefully I can pass QAP this time but please check it out. Not sure if you can see it though.
I will try to publish it again but it is getting blocked very soon if I fail to pass QAP again. I am quite new in Hubpage so I need some advice. If I want people to help me on the forum but kept getting auto-unpublished process, can anyone tell what I can do about it?
Spend some time in the Learning Center http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/contents...
and pay attention to this: http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/Elem … tellar-Hub
That's all you need.
They help. But they aren't enough: Creating a good hub (and anything good for that matter) depends upon some kind of an artistic sense.
I read everything in learning center and I am trying my best to adjust according to their recommendation. However, I am trying my best to pass QAP first and boot camp. Thank you for your advice; it is quite difficult to be artistic though. I will try to post more photos. I honestly cannot post any videos . When I go visiting my friend in Taiwan and I try then try to make a video.
If I publish it now again, is it possible for you do see it before it is being blocked?
I think that one problem contributing to your hub not being featured is that the text needs a lot of work, grammatically and stylistically. Having it edited by a skilled native English editor would no doubt help, but at the current rates of payment here, it might take a long time for the costs of the editing to be recovered.
Secondly, you include photographs with no indication that these are (a) your own photos, (b) from the public domain, in which case you still need to demonstrate this by linking back to the source, (c) from another source from which you have obtained permission to use the images.
Thirdly, you are making medical claims. You really need to provide references to the scientific studies on which these claims are based.
You are right about English editor part. I am really struggling there because I just cannot afford to pay anyone to edit it for me. I am pretty sure my English friends do not want to read them for me either so I am basically stuck.
The photographs are not my own pictures, they are from my friend's and my mother's camera. They are not from public domain so there are no URL sources. I back-linked to my own blog but it was not allowed so I deleted them. I don't know what else to do. Can I send someone with my mother and friends' permission with an email?
The medical claims are again from my friend's references. I can try to ask him if he can find the references for me because he is very busy with his business I really don't want to disturb him. It is a very big favor to ask.
I think I will give up. I have no solutions to the problems you stated there but thank you for your advice. I will think of some other topics later but I believe I will always stuck at English editing problem.
The English is going to be an ongoing problem for you. I see you are in Newcastle. Could you maybe find someone who is willing to exchange editing for something you can provide. For example, someone wanting to learn your native language might be happy to exchange editing time for time with you teaching and/or providing conversation practice in your language. Maybe you could offer other services: babysitting, gardening, dog-walking, etc. There might even be an official scheme for such bartering in Newcastle.
I don't know how it works with photo credits, but you could try putting in a statement "Photograph by <name of person>. Used with permission."
As for the clinical references, you say you are a PhD so you should know all about literature searches! You can look up a PubMed search on royal jelly and find what you need from the citations that are retrieved: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=royal+jelly
If necessary, you can dig deeper by searching for gonadotropin and cancer, for example.
You can then use the PubMed links for abstracts of relevant papers, or if PubMed gives a link to a free full text article, use that instead.
Thank you for the medical part, that is exactly what I did. I was narrow minded thinking I need to get references from my friend but forgot I suffered 7 years for finding references for my PhD supervisor. But I decide to leave the reference out for now until it get rejected again.
The English editing part. Not sure about the dog walking part, I have worked for Siemens for 7 years, I think I will just try to ask my colleagues. I left the company but guess I can try asking them for the old time sake.
I will try modify the pictures.
Sorry, I might be rude in my last post. My first reaction was frustration. I will try my best to modify it. Except the English part, in fact, I did ask some of my colleagues to read the article and they just were just stalling me. I guess colleagues and friends are different after all. They are no editors anyway, they are all engineers.

Do you work on your "unfeatured" hubs to improve them? Or let them stay unfeatured? On your hub list, when you see the message "This hub is not featured because it doesn't receive sufficient engagement" next to one of your hubs, are you likely to revamp the hub to try to get it...

To the powers that be at HP: this is getting OLD. What's the point of a writing site that won't let you edit, let alone publish, your work????? Seems to happen only on the weekends, and I'm 100% sure it IS NOT on my end. No Windows updates pending, cache has been emptied, system...

When you publish a hub, it is normally listed under hub activity and a notification is sent via email to all interested parties. Now, when you unpublish that hub, finish re-editing and then republish it (keeping the original title intact), will it appear in the hub activity? Also, will...

I have been noticing that when I enable the copyright notice in the display options in the HubTool, that it sometimes gets shut off. Then I have to enable it again. This has been happening ever since the feature was first introduced and I've been trying to discover what I did just before it...

I plan on editing my existing hubs, the ones with high traffic to get them to rank even better for terms they already rank for, but not at #1 spot. I have a premium SEM rush account using which I can see what I am ranking for and what I can improve upon. I use this on my own website with a lot of...
