So is there a reason why there has been no income update?
...and is anybody going to tell us what it is?
This is something that happens often at the beginning of the month and is usually sorted out. That's why not many ask anymore
That just suggests to me that they have wonky systems - which hardly fills me with confidence that I'm getting the correct payment each month.
Plus "it often happens" is NO EXCUSE for not communicating what the problem is and when it will be remedied.
If you have to explain each month what the problem is it tends to focus the mind wonderfully on getting the system fixed.
No it's not that. They've stated the problem before. The HP ad program works with many advertisers, and the delay is almost always caused by those advertisers. I thought you'd have read that before, so didn't bother saying it again. Well, that's what we've been told.
No - I've never heard that before.
Also since there are new people joining every month an attitude of "we've told you before" is hardly customer-friendly!
Haha they never said that. I just said I thought you'd have known as there were replies to previous threads you've commented on regarding this issue a few months ago.
I KNOW you said it.
I was indicating that practices which suggest that attitude are NOT customer-friendly.
Thanks for your answer to my question and the link to yours- some people get so testy on here- guess they have lives that allow them to read every forum- you made a good point that there are new people on here every month- God bless those that have time to read every forum- I'm happy to focus on my practice of writing and the heck with the earnings though the last two months it was increasing- Take Care!
This happens often at the end of or beginning of each month due to the fact that the 28th is pay day and some advertisers are slow in reporting their figures to HP. It has been explained many times in the past.
It doesn't matter, anyhow, because we always get paid and stats eventually are always updated, so nobody is losing any money.
If you have ever owned your own business, you would know that glitches like this can and do happen regularly.
I can understand that there will be issues from time to time that need to be ironed out to properly post ad program earnings. But it would cause a lot less consternation if HP left the * in place to indicate
"incomplete or unaudited earnings, value may change," until they straighten out the earnings.
or even just acknowledged they've got a problem?
Excellent comment- they cause themselves more headaches by not being informative or utilizing common sense sometimes- In the long run, I am on here to resharpen my writing skills- Take Care!
I see zero (0.00) earnings on the 1st Nov?
How is that possible?
Mine too, don't worry about it now, it will be updated later.
This reminds me of a song I heard on a commercial a long time ago. Deep voice sings: "I want my money back money back money back. I want my money back money back money back." That's how I remember it anyway. He might have wanted something else entirely.
this is happening to me too! ad program nov 1st: $0.00 / nov 2nd: $0.00 / nov 3rd: pending. (i live in japan so it's already nov 5th, here)
now it seems like the reason is deeper than, "your articles now suck, cecil. get a life." that's a relief!
thx guys and take it easy.
and finally we have an update! Seems like it was worth raising the issue of the absent income.....
I am still seeing 0.00 for the last few days when earlier it said I had earned a small amount. Not sure what is going on.
I don't think the earnings for the first few days are correct yet.
Nope I was right all along - there is a PROBLEM!
Earlier today I had an amount listed.
Now I have zero listed for the first three days of November
I've also taken to making a record of all hub stats every day and the change in visit stats is pitiful. Not like normal.
It is 4.11pm on the 5th Nov in this part of the world (you guys are still sleeping) and mine still shows $0.00
Hi all, earnings from Nov 1 - Nov 3 are in and certified. I posted an update here: http://hubpages.com/forum/post/2776522
Thanks for your patience.
So now I've had another increase to the income posted - and have now got advert income for four days (November 1-4) but still nothing from Amazon.
So what's the explanation re. Amazon? I get income most days and it would be very odd to go four days without anything at all.
So is this another little hiccup?
I received a notice of income from Amazon sales.
Me too. I had Amazon sales for two of the last four days. They were the only amounts showing until a couple of hours ago. Now ad earnings have appeared.
Amazon earnings are now in through the 4th. Also, Ad Program earnings for the 4th were just certified.
Thanks for the update.
Like I said, it's most unusual for me to go 4 days without any Amazon earnings.
I looked back at last month and I can see there were three days with nothing at the beginning of the month and that was the longest gap all month.

My earnings have gone down by half as much per day in January, 2018. Did something change to the earnings program. My page views have not gone down though. So what's going on?

Almost a year back I tried to write 30 hubs in 30 days. I thought, writing 30 hubs in 30 days would not be a difficult proposition. But I failed to complete the challenge. Even now, I do not have 30 hubs total. I shall make efforts for the challenge again in due course of time. Currently, I am into...

I was refraining about talking about this but it really is bad. Last month with adsense was my most profitable month, but this month so far I got 3 clicks...What could have made this change?-New Hubpages Layout?-April 1st Conflicker Virus? I was thinking these two things can't be so harmful to my...

Twice this week, I checked AdSense, and saw some nice earnings in the 30 to 50 cents range, due to ad clicks (I assume). Both times, these earnings disappeared when I checked back again a few hours later. I understand that earnings are not final until final, but the most recent case was...

I have completed three 30 day HubChallenges. One in May, one in late July, and one during the calendar month of September. In all 3 cases, I published more than 30 hubs in 30 days. In fact, in the latest challenge I committed to publishing 45 and I did it. 45 hubs put me at...
