    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my Hub Outlander Dress like Jamie and Claire with these Fantastic Outfits. What can I do to improve? Thanks!

I know I am not a new hubber, but for some reason there is a problem with this hub? not sure what, so asked to do this, thanks everyone!

    Be gentle with me! lol!

Great article, if you are still having problems I think you will find there are too many Amazon products.
I find two are about right it will pass then anymore you have a problem.
      Also Photo credits.
Have a nice day you are a good writer.

I don't think the photo credits are important anymore as we never know where the source is. I took mine from many different articles, some blogs etc. it must be the links, thanks

Nell, it is illegal to use images without permission. In essence, it is copyright theft.

This is Hubpage's policy from the FAQ:

Can I use photos, video, and other content from other sites on my Hubs?

When you sign up for HubPages, you agree to use only content to which you hold the necessary rights. Basically, this means that if you did not create the content yourself (take the picture, create the video, etc.), you must have permission to use it from the person or organization that created the asset. In our Learning Center guide on legally using images, you will find information on where you can find photos that are free to legally use in your Hubs. As with all content on HubPages, it must also meet our terms of service.

It is important that you use pictures legal, either copyright free, under license, explicitly distributed for open promotional use (not just approved media sources), or your own.  This is now and has always been the case.

NellRose, I just noticed this comment, and it worries me.

I know you are conscientious person who would wish to do the right thing.  Just taking photos from anywhere, without asking, is NOT doing the right thing!

ALL photos on websites are copyright, UNLESS you can find a statement on the site giving permission to use it.  That includes photos on Pinterest or any other photo sharing site.   That means, if you use them on HubPages without the permission of the photo owner, you could be sued for a very large amount of money.

Besides, I'm sure you would be upset if someone took and copied one of your Hubs and posted it without asking you and without providing a link back to your Hub.  So think how the photographer feels about you using his/her photos without a thank you!

Yes, as Elsie mentions, you need to add photo credits with live links to the source. You also have to be sure that you have permission to use the images. You can't lift them off other websites.

I've read all the Outlander books, apart from the most recent. It's going to take off massively, isn't it?

    Hi Nell,
I just read your hub a second time. I think you will find the fact that you have ten Amazon product capsules the problem. You now have to have 100 words of text for each ad capsule in your hub. I have had to delete most Amazon capsule from my own. They seem to be very strict now.
A week ago I had five hubs non-featured but that didn't worry me because most were Christmas related. Yesterday I looked and I had 35 non-featured and seemingly growing by the day. It says unfeatured for engagement but some are showing as having more view than others that are featured.
Anyway I am 99% sure your problem is the ad count. Cheers.

Suitably chastened I have redone the whole thing, ticked all the boxes and sorted it out. I had forgotten the new rules about Amazon as I hadn't done an Amazon hub for years.

Things are getting curiouser and curiouser here at HP.  Jodah is most likely correct about the Amazon capsules, but they used to tell you that.  We have to keep guessing and trying to stay one step ahead.  I hope you find the answer.

The entire purpose f the Hub seems to be sales, and HubPages doesn't approve Hubs with that focus anymore.  From anyone approaching the Hub looking for actual costuming info, that's not what the content genuinely answers, as all the commentary offers no historical detailing or construction notes.

changed the group so no longer costuming, added history facts and titbits, got rid of bits and pieces, see if that works.

I liked your page.  Having decided to do hubs I have been fine tuning my pages a bit at a time to see what goes H and what does not.  Although it says 300 words is a style thing and although others have Amazon with less, I have found stripping them out completely lets you see if that is the issue or not. Nearly all of them went to H with Amazon removed.  Later then re add one at a time with your words.  Also, I would put words below the first pic and above the video.
