    So you've just joined Hub pages and you are looking through the forums and the Hubs.  Will you try to find good quality articles and become a fan of those writers or will you look at a good quality pictures - say a sexy woman or man and become a fan of them based on their looks?

      I'd go for good quality articles.  If I want a sexy woman I go to the porn sites  lol

      I try to become a fan of those who are my fans.  I also choose fans by their hubs and those that I like.  This may sound really stupid for me to choose for all of these reasons, but I am guilty of being a fan of others for strange reasons.  I have even become a fan of people who I think I may like as a person.  Most of the the ones that I have become a fan of are the ones that are my fans.  I guess the reason I choose to do this is because I feel if they have become a fan of mine because of a hub, then they would be the kind of person that I would want to be a fan of since they like to read the same things that I like to write.

      I'm amazed that anyone would even need to ask this question!  HubPages is not a social networking site, it's an article writing site. so of course being a fan is all about the writing.

    I go for good quality people here on the forums.  You get to know who the nice ones are right away and also the ones you wouldn't even consider being friends with.  Though sometimes you may catch someone on a bad day so I don't make immediate judgements.  I'm sure you have seen the trolls around here that just like to pick fights no matter what the subject.

    I go for the women and this is why:
    Women = Time x Money

    Because Time is Money, it follows that:
    Women = Money x Money = (Money)^2

    "Money is the root of all evil," i.e.
    Money = squareroot(Evil) and
    (Money)^2 = squareroot(Evil)^2

    Therefore, it follows that:
    Women = squareroot(Evil)^2 = Evil

    (^2 means squared)
    That's why I am attracted to women

    I go for the well written articles that are original, factual, humorous and pleasant to read.  It doesn't matter to me about gender, culture, place of residence or opinions.  A good writer is just that.
