Hey Hubpages, I just created my profile and have been posting a lot today. I would appreciate any feedback on my blogs to where I can improve, or if you just like it! Thanks in advance and I would be willing to extend the same gestures for you.

Hi Corey,
It looks like none of your hubs are featured yet. I took a quick look at your "Cross Country Travels" hub. It has good information, but i's full of typos. A few examples are:
ciggerate
that how things were
relivent
unnessesary
beatiful peice
Careful proofreading and the use of a spellchecker will help you get your hubs featured.
Good luck.
Yes, the sentence that contains the word "typos" itself contains a typo. I hate when that happens (to me)!
I'd just say focus on writing quality, evergreen content. Identify some keywords and try to use them, but don't get too hung up on it. Have fun and write things that interest you, and the rest will take care of itself.
5 hubs in 4 hours, not bad.
Posting links to your own hubs is a no-no.
However, you being a newbie, I don't expect anybody to be too perturbed about that.
Welcome to HP!
First of all, Hubs are not blogs. They are the kind of articles you would read in a magazine. That means you can't get away with typos and spelling mistakes - they all need to be fixed. Don't just rely on a spell-checker either: I see one place where you've used "then" instead of "than", and another where you've used "view" instead of "few" for instance - a spell-checker won't pick that up because both are real words.
Second, HubPages are VERY strict about how you use Amazon capsules. You can advertise ONLY products that are very closely related to the subject of the Hub. If you advertise unrelated products, your Hub won't be approved.
In your "cross country travels" Hub, you've chosen products that are useful equipment for travellers BUT your Hub is not about equipping yourself for travelling. So that's not closely related enough. I can't think of any products you could feature on that Hub, and you'll find that happens quite a lot. Some subjects just don't have related Amazon products.
Another tip for Amazon: if you are going to show an Amazon product, don't just chuck the capsule in. Say something about why you've chosen this product and why you recommend it.
I appreciate everyone's feedback, after some changes I'm pleased to say 4/5 of my original hubs became featured. Thanks for the help!

I have been on Hub Pages about a year and I have written about 27 Hubs and they have received close to 5000 views, which I felt was not bad and my status hovers between 82-88. Last week I had about 8 of my Hubs featured, which again seemed ok. Now magically overnight, I have all these codes now...

This is a two-fold issue. I know we're in the middle of a Google Typhoon or whatever animal is wreaking havoc this month plus the summer traffic is, well, obviously somewhere else. In January/February of this year, my traffic was around 2000 views per day. Right now, I'm lucky if I crack 400. I'm...

I am being challenged. I have been having a problem getting a new hub to be featured. It has gone through QAP three times already. It is a new day, and I am feeling up to the challenge once again. Rested and refreshed after a good nights sleep, with a hopeful heart. So! Now, the hub will be going...

I joined Hubpages approximately 3 years ago. I have 25 - 30 hubs. All of my published hubs are featured hubs. In 2012 I made a little over $50 revenue on my hubpages hubs. Altogether since I began writing on Hubpages I have reached almost 30,000 views. While perusing the forums I see...

And why can't I add any Amazon capsules? If they're not allowed, then why are they even an option? The word count doesn't seem to matter because I can have over 2,000 words but have to remove them all before the hubs will become featured again. Either way, I like the color and...
