I'd like feedback about my feedback's feedback. Any feedback?

Is asking for feedback another way to get views moving? Perhaps it would be better to ask for comments or viewpoints. You show me your feedback and I'll show you mine perhaps. Desire to improve just might be unrelated to income generating desires.

Maybe you need a feedbag ... then you might have a chance of getting your feed back.

Will you be my feedbag? I mean it's nearly Valentine's Day so I could do with a new feedbag for my feed.

Sorry-- I'm taken. As the chief cook at my house, I fill enough feedbags.

No, we make our money from outside viewers clicking on ads, not from good fellow hubbers giving suggestions on how to improve a hub to pass QAP.

If one of your hubs is unfeatured, you may ask for feedback to try and get it featured. If you have time, give people who ask for feedback genuine constructive criticism to help them get their hubs featured so the site improves as a whole.

That was my feedback on your question about feedback, no need for feedback on this feedback.

As I said I didn't realize there were honest folk out there who actually needed feedback.

No one is perfect, and I personally think that everyone could use constructive feedback to improve.  How would you know to improve if you didn't know you had a problem? Or couldn't identify specifically the biggest problem you currently had.

Comments would just tell you what you think about the topic of the hub, but the feedback that is being requested is actually about the way the hub is written.

Well I will continue to eat crow over this one. Didn't know honest people out there  wanted feedback..

For what it's worth Oz, I think you are right on the mark about some of the people who incessantly start threads for support or reassurance.  I think posting frequency and tone are enough to tell who's genuine and who's merely desperate for even a dribble of internal traffic. roll

Maybe HubPages needs to change the wording on the post that gets created when people click the link.

Something like, "My Hub is unFeatured, I need help!", would make a lot more sense.

At last I can stop eating crow. Actually it's not bad with a bit of soy sauce; well maybe a whole lotta soy sauce.

I think "feedback" is a poor word choice if constantly repeated.

I think I understood your point... now offer some alternatives.
I guess we could ask for constructive criticism, edits, suggestions??
I think "feedback" is just a convenient shortcut way of asking for a helpful response.

Yes I think it's more creative and instructive to use alternate words like suggestions etc.
                Feedback gets annoying.
Feedback in music is a loud unnecessary noise caused by an error in acoustics.

No, new writers (and old) are offered the chance to get feedback on the forum when their hub doesn't pass the Quality Assessment Process, i.e. they can't get it published. Maybe you could try to help a new hubber? - Sometimes I feel I'm on my own big_smile

Sorry Freddy, replied to your post insead of the OP.

Wow, I was hoping for more feedback than that. Still it's better than no feedback.
I didn't know there were actually honest people out there who really do need feedback. I will take a look and give them some feedback.
