I recall my photos looking distinctly sharper in previous months on all of my Hubs. I hope we can return to the crisp image quality once displayed as a standard on HubPages.
to be honest now I have not but then again I am pretty new here.
If they are being reduced, it has the benefit of allowing pages to load more quickly. Google frowns on slow and heavy pages.
May be it's in your browser settings. Or may be Hubpages have reduced image quality to boost page speed.
The quality of the images on my official website has not changed. Only here on HubPages. This I did test to make sure it wasn't a technical issue on my end.
I have nice crisp clear photos, but I am getting a message that I shouldn't have any blurry photos. I don't know how to win on this one if it is on Hubpages end.
Pictures get slightly reduced in quality after being uploaded on hubpages........ have faced this issue multiple times .... don't know why.

I'm finding that image quality has declined recently whether the images are jpgs or pngs. The problem is bigger for graphics than photos. They are very blurry on HP but look sharp on desktop. I am writing a hub entitled 'How to spot a bad web designer' and one of the things I need to do is to illustrate a number of image quality issues. Unfortunately, HubPages reduce the quality of images dramatically completely obliterating my examples with JPEG artifacts. I can't see any way to host...

I have not used hubpages for around a year and have recently started to get back into it, I must admit that in the beginning I was a little Naive and posted images into my hubs willy nilly without thought of where they came from. I have recently recieved an email from a photo place saying that I...

On this article, I uploaded an image of a table at over 1200 pixels wide. The site then seems to limit the width to 1200 pixels wide. In edit mode if I right click on the image and open it in a new tab, it's 1200 pixels wide. If I view the article on Owlcation and do the same thing, it's only 700...
