Hi everyone. It pains me to say this but I have to drop out of the Hubchallenge. I have some very urgent matters to attend to regarding my firm plus I'm writing certain hubs that I don't really think should be included in the hubchallenge, such as hubs about my country. They're not really sensitive topics and all that but I don't think they are appropriate for the challenge, that's all. I'll still be here to cheer on those that are in this challenge because I still believe in it. Good luck to my fellow Hubchallengers!

Sorry to see you go, Emie, but I understand.  Hope all sorts itself out at work.  Oh well, you can do the challenge anytime.

It's confusing living in a pineapple under the sea, Earnest.  Give the guy a break.

It must be nice to be so easily entertained (kind of like a baby with a shiny object).   You have to kind of envy that a little bit.

I dont like the idea of this anti hub challenge .  It really annoys me that we have people  other Hubbers on the sideline who instead of just commenting on the hubs and not voting the ones up they dont like are there ready to attack.  People including Hubbers need encouragementr in the creative learning process that is blogging.  I really do object to thembeing here ar all !

Not a fan of the Anti HubChallenge either, Barry.  I've read the hub, I get the drift, but I don't think anything that goes on in the HubChallenge doesn't already go on, meaning the production of low quality hubs.  In a utopian world, we'd all support each other.  The Anti HubChallenge purports these "low quality" HubChallenge hubs will negatively affect HubPages as a whole.  I propose just the opposite as traffic will naturally increase, providing increased exposure to all hubbers.  Google will take care of the substandard hubs.  Live and let live, I say.  Personally, I am learning a lot from the challenge.  I am working very hard to keep my quality the same as before the challenge.  If I find it may start waning, I will simply forego the challenge.

Yes thanks for this  I posted before  on another thread that my hu "My Experience as a volunter at the Sydney Olympics" had been flagged as  being duplicated.  Yet I only thought of the idea the other day.  I swear word for word that that is the only hub I have posted on the net containing my words !

It's because of the final description of Olympic Park.  It's the same as:  http://www.sydneyolympicpark.com.au/Vis … s_memories

You could just cite the reference?

Couple of things.  Barry if in doubt a check at copyscape.com will soon tell you if anything's plagiarised, however accidentally.

Secondly, regarding the antihub challenge, I've posted a new thread that answers your concernes - it wasn't somehting it made sense to post here.

I have an opinion, and I don't care to have it lost in a thread that isn't clearly labelled so people can find it.

We understand.  That's what I like about this revolving challenge.  You can hop off and hop back in at your choosing.  No worries.  We'll still be here.  smile
