I'm reminded of the story about the monkey king who flew up to the edge of the universe only to find that he was still in the palm of the Buddha. Trying to solve the paradox is mental gymnastics. Well, it was a good workout.Thanks.
Pretty thick stuff rev!
You can't see your own abuse because what?
You tell people who don't believe in your version of the invisible pathetic sky fairy that they are going to hell and that is not an attack?
Religious version of thinking I guess!
Astounding. Then he accuses anyone who disagrees with his nonsense of "attacking" him. I don't understand the mindset. I know when I have provoked some body. Are they blind?
I see it as a form of megalomania myself. No other explanation for the blind spot fits.
Omnipotent means being capable of wiping out the whole world's population except for an old bloke and a few other people and all the other animals.
Apparently the sky fairy did this to his own creation.
If he were omnipotent why did he screw up when he made mankind, and then like a petulant rodent blame his creation and wipe them out?
So can god be omnipotent but psychotic at the same time?
This is just so much froggy poo.
How else would you debate some loony belief that says all who don't believe this tripe as you interpret it is going to hell?
If you're going to write a hub about this you would have to change it to "Does God Exist?" It seems people would rather argue about the existence of God than to answer your question. The fault belongs to the Christian for failing to be the salt and light in the world that we are supposed to be. By the way, atheism is a religion, too. I have better things to do with my time than get involved in this.

Many believers like to say that Atheists should prove that there is no God. Believers should know that existence has to be proved, not the non-existence. If a thing exists, it is possible to prove its existence. So believers should prove the existence of God if he exists. But if they want to do it,...

That's the typical Sam Harris argument. How does suffering negate God's existence? Maybe He's just watching. It doesn't mean He doesn't exist and for anyone to bring up suffering as proof of no God is indication of a logical fallacy.

What Is The Best Evidence For The Existence Of God?

Who can post the best argument about the existence or the non-existence of God and can support their answers using real logic? Don't use faith based logic when proving the existence of God.

I typically prefer to deal in quantifiable subjects, but this is a thought that resurfaced in my mind recently and was one of the first thoughts that led to my de-conversion from Christianity some years ago.So, how does the idea of hell fit into the supposition that God is, by definition (since God...
