YAY for ObamaCare!

Got my update for next year's ACA insurance.  Seems the deductible is going down $300, all the way to $6550...if I stay in network.  If we're forced out of network (out of town, no specialist, whatever) the deductible goes from its current $6850 to $50,000.  Out of pocket from the current $6850 to $75,000.  $75000!  Of course, all drugs fall under the deductible whether in or out of network. This is what is being called "affordable care"?!?

And for this wonderful adjustment in benefits, I get to pay an additional $200 per month.  Just a month and a half of extra premium eats up the savings should I reach the deductible for in-network care.

Hope the rest of you do better than Obama is doing for me.  I remember the days when a C-section and a newborn in NICU cost me a new nightgown and a teddy bear - guess they're gone forever.

The underwriters all across America are dropping out of the system for obvious reasons .
Simply put , the young and healthy aren't signing up to pay for the heavy hitters of health care - large families , the chronically  sick , the diseased ,    This was predicted from the beginning too !
After this election  - Obama-care will become Hillary -Care as designed before or  Trumps Care .
Pharma- companies -  Hospital costs - individual doctor charges - multiple  charges -

The system desperately needs MASSIVE regulating !  But not -subsidization   !

Remember Obama saying over and over again (brainwashing) to the public that he has a health insurance plan that would save the average family $2,500 on their premiums.  That would have been nice for families.

The forks wanted what the silver spoons had. Now all we have are knives cutting every thing up. Something like that. I am paying about $12,000 a year for "catastrophic" only (nothing) just to avoid paying YEARLY FINES because that would REALLY enrage me! The health insurance I got priced out of was excellent. I had a PPO and could select any doctor for any reason. I had excellent care and now, NOTHING.

… but there is more to this story. My ACA/Kaiser policy costs $800.00 A MONTH. But, I am only paying a hundred of it. Who is paying the rest each month? Some Silver Spoons! Sorry about that, Spoons. I had a Fork that I used just fine, before Obama Care, but the Knives (that created it) took my Fork way.

Do U know Kaiser's NET Income for Q-2 2016 was $707 MILLION which means they are TRACKING Toward a NET Income of Approximately 2.8 BILLION ~

Think they can AFFORD to give U a BREAK on "Premium & Deductable" ?? Probably so ~

You should take your "Grievances" to the GREED Driven INSURANCE Companies which right now, is a COMPONENT of your "FREE Enterprise System" ~ They alone have the POWER to LOWER "Deductables & Premiums" if of course they are "Ready, Willing & ABLE" to ACCEPT a Slight Decrease in Revenue which of course we ALL Know THEY Are NOT & Never will be as LONG as they are "CONTROLLED & Influenced" by Wall Street or Remain "PROFIT Driven" ~ sad

The insurance companies didn't make it mandatory or get fined. Obama did. Of course they are going to take advantage and jack prices up. Obama gave them a prominent seat at the table during the negotiations. They all knew this day would come and Obama could have cared less that this would happen to the American public.
