   Do you think this is what drives him now that he's running for president? How will he handle losing the election? Will Trump TV be his next "failure to success"?

      Additional notoriety/fame will increase his presence in the business world or drive people to use his casinos/hotels/golf courses?
      
      Attempting to gain a foothold in the political arena to make buying congressmen easier?
      
      Increasing his name in foreign markets?
      
      Fear that additional liberal policies of destroying businesses will cost him personally?
      
      Fear of national bankruptcy?
      
      Maybe he's just a patriot, wanting the best for the country and his idea of "best" is not politics as usual?
      
      Could be a lot of reasons (and more than one at a time) influencing his decision.  Outside of political power, why does anyone run for the worst job in the world?  It's a given that Clinton's reason is to grow her political power, but why did Obama run?  Reagan?  Bush?  Lincoln?

         Yet, we had such high hopes that he would be remembered for so much more.
         
         As to what drives Trump. Ego, I would say. That he can do what others haven't. That a business head is more valuable in that position than a political one.

      In addition, PRIOR to opening, According to REPORTs, it's already EMBROILED in at LEAST 1 Law SUIT ~ And how could U possibly be SURPRISED at that Development ??   REPORTs Indicate, a Business-Person who had CONTRACTED to open a Restaurant within the property, Unilaterally RECINDED the Agreement Citing essentially that Donald's Public Statements, Actions & Behavior would be DETRIMENTAL to & Discourage Potential Customers from Patronizing the Restaurant ~ ~
