Prove to me that modern day protesters are mature  enough to vote .     Looking at all the photo's , and video's  , I am impressed at one thing . The  age factor !   To me ,  the oldest among the protesters MAY have been old enough to vote for Obama the first time around but not likely ,   Average protesters - somewhere around their early twenties prove to me that those of that  age  need to be heavily scrutinized .     We really need to do two things in America that will return the voting system to it's  socio- political maturity that it's always been known for . One raise the minimum age of the voter  , Two  , demand an ID..  a  requirement for the same .  The average age of the protester today shows a  far too immature an identity   for voting , so much so that  immaturity  itself is in a position  that has a constant affect on the outcome of elections.

The left fully knows today that  youth  , immigrants   legal or illegal , and the other socially entitled voters hold  lot of political power in liberal voting , for instance ,     If you took youth , the immigrants , undocumented voters of any persuasion   , including the uneducated gullibility of legal immigrants , put them in a box alone and  they would be enough to sway any election .     In other words , Offer the socially immature    an entitlement  and they will vote liberal EVERY TIME.

No longer are there the two political ideologies in America and in the originally designed electoral process ,  BUT a manipulative mixture of  entitled left creating an imbalance in the integrity of the electoral process . One ---  Raise the voters age , Two , create a Voter ID. ?

Why are they immature? Because they don't support GOP rightwing philosophies?

We never tolerate raising the minimum voting age, old enough to be drafted and otherwise to be an adult in every other way but voting.  That is going nowhere. Let's hear more of your 'brilliant' suggestions. Pure right wing fascist daydreams.

Yes, I as a Minority and others like me exercise a lot of power in regards to liberal/progressive voting and it's going to become more intense over time. So, I suggest that you learn to live with it

If someone wants a mature protest, make your protest a week or two. These one day protests are not effective because the press is not ready and people forget quickly. Plus the statist disallow them as much as possible or collect even more money from you.
Not worth protesting , yet my art protests can last for decades as the issue are long term issues.

We will do whatever it takes, but we must remain peaceful, not giving Trump and excuse to bring in the National Guard. In the age of ubiquitous media such that could not even have been imagined in the sixties, those protest will be nationwide and global in nature

Young people are desired for soldiers partly because they're easy to "brainwash" into unquestioning obedience.  You don't want a bunch of 50 years that respond to "CHARGE" with "Wait a minute - they're shooting at us!".  You want instant obedience, and that they will die is not to be considered.

That means that young people are also easy to "brainwash" into believe a political philosophy or action is best, and hard, solid reasons are often not necessary.

Too bad.  If you're old enough to die for the country, you're old enough to have a say in how it's run.

Good, I am glad that you see that. Regardless of your opinion of young voters, I am glad they are there to keep the sclerotics  from running things unchecked.

Oh I think quite a bit of young voters.  They are to be commended for doing their small part in running this enormous country, and many (most?) of them actually make more effort to do what is right than their older, jaded generations.

But I also recognize that they haven't had 40, 50 years to experience the world and the misrepresentations that come out of it.  Older, more experienced people don't fall prey to the snake oil salesmen nearly as easily as youth does.

That is part of the balance, Wilderness. For every perceived weakness, there is a corresponding strength.

Many weaknesses, in a specific environment, can be a large strength in different one.  The sharks gills are a big help in the ocean, but an desert camel with gills instead of lungs isn't going to last long.

And I agree , the age to serve in war  25 , voting 25  driving  18   ,  Americans  have raised a whole generation of thirty year old "snap chatters" ,  Hilary's   basement dwellers  should have to attend  a re- certification high school diploma test .  Even if they did go to college .

For the losers , I heard a rumor - Hilary actually voted for Trump !
