    "One" must have been a real barnburner.

    As for II, looking for peaceful.

    Am looking for meandering, happiness, optimistic posts about our labratdom.

    What say you?

    Edit: Am discussing life, not HP.

      State your question or your initial statement, rat.

      Do you literally think you are like a lab rat in maze? I am just curious, as this is a common theme for you.

            Nah, just empiricism.

              Empiricism: the belief that human awareness is limited to that which manifests on the material plane as perceived by the five senses.

                Only partially. It is also based on logic. We see what we see, then we make working conclusions on that.

                When we see we are treated as lab rats, then we must conclude we are lab rats.

      Suddenly I have that Smashing Pumpkins song running thru my head.

      "Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage..." (air guitar)

        Maze. Though I have wondered what the perception breakdown is as maze versus cage on my website page. I sincerely hope it is 90+ percent maze and less that 10% cage. (side note: my profile does not have the link, so don't bother going there).

      ~ reality is only what we sense with our five senses.
      Blah.

    5. Kathryn L Hill profile image78

      Metaphysical reality can be perceived via the sixth sense.

      Metaphysical
      2 transcendental, spiritual, supernatural, paranormal.
      If there is no reality existing beyond the five senses, why would there be a definition for it?

      Just because you haven't sensed it, doesn't mean others haven't sensed it. Jesus said you can perceive heaven within. If you keep looking for it outside yourself, you won't find it. Those Trump haters are to be pitied. They really think that if Hillary or Bernie had gotten in they would be happy. Ha ha ha ha aha!
      Oh sorry, you said "peaceful."

          Now that you mention it, both were wearing the exact same uniform, ties not withstanding.

          Meanwhile, unhappiness still abounds in many places and I had to post this somewhere else...:
          God grant me the serenity
          to accept the things I cannot change;
          courage to change the things I can;
          and wisdom to know the difference.

          Personally, I hope the usual gridlock can still protect us.

        J U S T?  why use that world when you would be setting a good example and in so doing contribute to truly changing the world for the better?
        Plus you would be enjoying your life.

        If there are retirement benefits even better, of course. neutral

      There is the good which is for the sake of itself. There is the good which is for the sake of something else. The highest good is for the sake of itself AND something else, as illustrated in the following sentence:

      *I'm going to find myself a hobby that is fun to do and that somehow contributes to society in the process.*

      At least we live still in a free country. Our freedom is not going anywhere! Instead, it has just been PREVENTED from going anywhere.
