Idea of 2 or 3 different HubPages accounts as per Topics

   Considering the current online scenario and the way HubPages is progressing I have a question.
   - Is it worth creating 2 or 3 different HubPages profile/account and write according to your niche topic? For instance, one profile for sports, one for fashion and another for fitness.
   Otherwise, after a few years are ending up with numerous topic in one account and which might be turn off for a reader who is looking for particular information and our profile is serving all kind of topics.
   - HubPages allowing to do this?
   - Most important- Can we use our same Google AdSense account in all the profiles?

      At this point, no I wouldn't have more than one account. You need to earn $50.00 for payout and it would be better to just have one account so you can do this. I have 2 and I no longer see an advantage having two of them.

      I agree with Barbara Kay. I think if a reader finds different types of information given by the same author, it's good. It shows your knowledge of different subjects.

      As others have mentioned, you are certainly welcome to create more than one account. However, most prefer to use one account because each account will have to reach the $50 payout limit separately in order for your payment to be issued. Most prefer to receive their earnings more quickly by keeping all their articles earning toward payout for a single account.

         I saw in past forums that many Hubbers are writing their sales Hubs and informative Hubs on the different account so I was curious on that point.

         Kristy:  This being the case, is there a way the team can help writers here to easily transfer hubs from a second account back to a first one? 
         
         I started a second account a year or so ago because I wanted to keep my "niche", but many of my first account hubs are now being moved to niche sites.  Some of my second account hubs have been moved as well.
         
         How much would it take for the team to be able to "blend" them.  Possible or not??

            Unfortunately, the only way to do this is to delete the articles from one account and copy/paste them into the account you'd like them to appear in. However, deleting an article will cause it to lose its pagerank and history with Google, so for articles that get good traffic, we don't recommend it.

               I thought you might be able to do this because you have already worked it out for moving hubs to the niche sites.  I started the second site because I wanted my main site to be a niche in itself...this was prior to the creation of the sites you now move hubs to.  Now I'm stuck in the middle.  Sigh.

   I would have only one account. If you write on different topics it shows you are knowledgeable in various areas. I do not think that would turn readers off. If they are only interested in one of the topics you write about then they will just focus on those hubs related to that particular topic and ignore the others. Plus, this way you will not have to worry about reaching $50 on three different accounts because everything will be under one.

   Also keep in mind now there is an option for several different custom bio's that show on your hubs.  That wasn't there before when many were opening niche accounts.  I'd stick to one and make good use of those bios.

   One concern I'd have with multiple accounts is what sort of name to use for secondary accounts - fake or "cute" names have become less popular (I'm not sure they were ever popular to begin with - but the competition on the Internet today makes them even less desirable). Some very successful writers here do use names they've created, but they've also been here for a long while and have built up rankings in search engines and even readerships.
   
   I do think it is probably challenging to have 1,000 separate pieces on HP under one account, but people do it and some are among the most successful on the site. Maybe HP can find a way to help us index our accounts so we can more easily find a specific piece if we want to edit it.
   
   We can now sort by date published, date edited, etc. - it would be great to have a sort mechanism for the topics (including a way to easily spot those in a niche site).  This would also help us spot hubs that are not in the right categories. If there's a limit to what the system can sort, my vote would be to get rid of the "Comments" filter - I really don't pay attention to that column.
