   … Trump could opt to donate his salary to charity or return it to the Treasury: he wouldn't be the first President to do so. When John F. Kennedy was President, he donated his salary to charity, a practice he continued from his days serving in Congress. Herbert Hoover, a self-made millionaire, donated his salary to charity, too. And in 2013, Barack Obama, who famously announced that he had just finished paying off his student loans a few years before he took office, agreed to return 5% of his salary to the Treasury after the government shutdown affected the pay of federal workers.

         Mostly, wow! I didn't even know we were paying for presidents once they leave office.
         Therefore, we have a lot of men we address as President So and So … even though they are no longer in office. President Carter, President Clinton
         Right? (How come more democrats did not try for this position in 2016?)
         
         My(side)point is that Obama can use the funds the taxpayers pay him to disrupt the new presidency as the New York Post article explains.

   Will Trump take his after-money and give it away to charity or whatever ... year after year?
   Its kind of a win-win to have a wealthy president take office, but the left doesn't want to see it that way.
