If Trump and Company are innocent, why do they need to create a War Room and "lawyer up" for the upcoming investigation into their alleged Russian connections?

Why do that?  It's all fake news by leaked sources.

Because the investigation is open ended to other evidence and actors (it was written that way), and all the real evidence points to the Deep State and the Democrats' connections to Russia.  Believe me, the President has all the intelligence he needs on a “Need to Know Basis”.  Liberal media doesn't report on the real evidence and actors, just opinions, and right out lies and accusations by the lunatics that have been running the asylum.  IMHO

      Something we can do:
Ask God to give you His spirit of discernment as you listen to or read the news. Don’t just accept it! You might need to do some research to see if what was reported was what actually happened, or if the reported motivation was right.

Intercede for the news reporters who are mocking and obviously false reporting. They may not know the Lord. Pray that they are convicted of their wicked ways and that they meet Truth Himself.

      Hi peoplepower73,

Even if he is completely innocent, and considering the array of forces pushing and pursuing the Russian connection issue... wouldn't he be foolish not to take defensive measures?

Please name anyone who doesn't lawyer up when threatened with any scenario where they are being accused of something illegal. War room probably wasn't the best name to use but name anyone who doesn't have strategy meetings in such a scenario.

That old  adage fits the DNC:
"When you point your finger at someone else , the other four are pointing at you "
was perfectly adapted to the obstructions of the democratic party of today.

-If you are of a failed party -- Point and accuse the victor of failure .
-If you have absolutely no party identity -- attack the other party identity
-If the DNC is absolutely corrupted -- Accuse the other of corruption
-If your president failed in foreign policy --accuse this failure of the new one

P.P. , the total meltdown of the Obama-Kerry -Clinton continuum fallacy is spread from the DNC to it's struggling  minorities in senate and congress , To it's new DNC chairman swearing , cursing and crying about all of it ., Hilary's recent excuses rather than conceding the collective  loathing of the voting public is proof positive of all of it - One word ?
      Pitiful !
Trump isn't the reason for America's  almost ,demise --You and your candidates were .

All of your favorite democratic leaders have said , at one time or another , the same thing .   Now here is  a history lesson for liberals everywhere .

The year 1906 , Teddy Roosevelt receives  the Nobel Peace Prize , Look it up !   Why ?  Because he opened  a backchannel of communication with the Russians  which resulted in the peace agreements between the Japanese and the Russians   and ended a war .
Fast -Forward ,   2017,   Trump maybe even tried to communicate with the Russians ,  BIG DEAL ,  how many national leaders  do you suppose carry on communications with foriegn powers that first , the media isn't included with , NOR the opposition party ?

Wow !, Roosevelt like all leaders , communicated behind closed doors

The more I debate politics , the more i learn that the new liberals are not only  memory challenged politically , but understand diplomacy in extremely non-intellectual , shallow rantings .

    ahorseback:

You love to insult.  You can't make your point without throwing in some insults and name calling...just like your hero Trump.  You know who else does that... children who have not grown up yet.  It is not a sign of strength, but of weakness.  When Trump counter-punches, he thinks he is showing how strong he is, but the world is beginning to understand how childish he looks.

The last time I looked, there is always been one president at a time, except for Trump as candidate and president elect. While Obama was busy putting sanctions on Putin, Trump and Company were busy cutting deals with Putin and associates to not only meddle in our election process, but to remove sanctions. Is it treason?

Here is Article 3 - The Judicial Branch

    Section 3 - Treason:

"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

The Congress shall have power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted."

        Okay people ,
All that new -left snowflakes  have collectively come up with for "treasonous " Trump crimes against the world  have to date been totally debunked . Fact .     Does that stop any of  you from a- one -a -day flakism  accusation  ?  No !.

The entire  right wing Washington DC. establishment is frozen in fear that they will lose their cushy jobs if they oppose your phony accusations TO  actually stand up and be counted for Trump ,,Fact ,  All of the media is stuck in the denial phases of "OMG  We lost ALL  of our Hilary bets !" Fact .      And all the new - loony - left establishment  have  is  a low pressure  ridge snowflake storm front approaching    Peoplepower , you lost the election ! Get over it ! Fact .

Is time to move on from your "sore loser obstructionist phase " and into your planning for the next election ,  my god , come up with something genuine instead of  a dire hatred of orange hair .  I'm actually  feeling afraid for new babies who might be born with "orange hair "  , your  new -left will have a pre-conceived hatred for them .

My advice --- Stop snowflaking and come up with a viable [untarnished ] candidate  for  2020 ........I realise that the untarnished part is the obstruction you will never get over though . I shouldn't advise you  ---I can see it now, 2020   Hilary  looking like she went through a re -treading tire factory .

Peoplepower - Stop Hating and get into the political game - you could just pick a winner next time.

ahroseback: You have to come off of your delusions. Not liking Trump has nothing to do with Hillary losing the election.  That is just pablum for the right.  The whole world thinks Trump is incompetent, except for his supporters here, which includes you.  They are also in for a big surprise when they finally realize their coal mining and steel working jobs are not coming back. Again you are wasting your breath.  I don't know what snow flaking is.  I don't listen to right  wing propaganda like Brietbart, Alt Right, the Drudge report, and all that other radical nonsense.  What are you going to do if they find there has been meddling and collusion?  It's O.K. for you to hate liberals, but not O.K. for me to hate an incompetent president and his staff...sounds like hypocrisy to me.

Oh P.P. ......stop it , I love liberals !    Here's the thing , Where would we all be if not for the recent bumbling of new - left -liberal politickers ?

Seriously , the two party system was working exceptionally fine , that is until diluted by la- la land lefties  from the Cheech and Chong  political factory !

You gotta admit  it now ! Buddy - ...........That made you smile .

ahorseback:  No, it almost made me spit out my coffee.  Trump and his staff have bumbled more in his first 100 days including his overseas trip than eight years of liberal politics.  How can you even compare a class act like Obama with Trump?  That is a false equivalence.  Trump had a closed meeting with the Russians where he gave them highly classified information on Israel. He did not allow the U.S. press, but it was O.K. to have the Russian press present.   He told the Israelis that he had just left the mid-east when he was still in the mid-east.  He has taken sides with Saudi Arabia who is on the side of ISIS...remember our enemy!!!

He is calling Iran the common enemy of the mid-east when they are actually fighting ISIS.  See there is a difference between Sunni and Shia, but I'm sure you don't know or even care.  However, that is a very important geopolitical dynamic.  You stay focused on Cheech and Chong because you are living in LA LA land.  By the way, that means Los Angeles.  But I don't think a conservative like you would even watch a R rated movie.  It's too adult for you.

Oh P.P.  , you just go on now believing every baseless  daily obstruction  of the left ,  I'm sure you will get your democratic DNC badge  for believing ALL  of their simplistic  fairy tales .

Anyone who can look at Trumps first hundred days with open eyes  knows true progress ,Your love of Obama and his image is just that -- a blind  love of image .You are well brainwashed by this though ,  How about  Trump cancelling the Obama Paris Initiative today ?   Brilliant move and a  "Bigly " accomplishment ,   Gonna save hundreds of thousands of US jobs , reduce  our foreign aid to countries extremely undeserving ,   open up the coal mining jobs HERE ,  .......on and on and on .......

Perhaps you are only  a sore  loser -- the Hilary for President failure to launch -- at least your not in total denial like some liberals who actually see her image when looking  directly at Trump .

Trump  won P.P. , move on.

  7. peoplepower73 profile image90
    peoplepower73posted 6 years ago

ahorseback:  You are wasting your breath.  How does cancelling the Paris Accord save hundred of thousands of jobs?  Be specific please.  The current unemployment rate is currently below 5%.  That means at least 96% of the people are working.  The remainder who aren't working are Trump's "forgotten ones" who swung the vote for him.  The coal miners and steel workers are just sitting there waiting for Trump to bring back their jobs.

They are acting like the "real entitled ones."  Do you think they are going to go get educated to go find a job when they say "my,  grandiddy was a coal miner, my diddy was one too, I was one and by God Trump Digs Coal and he is going to bring back coal mining."

All trump and the republican party care about is making money flow to the top.  They are beholden to the big money interest and corporations who funded them.  Wait until they enact his health care and tax reform.  Those people who voted for him are going to get royally screwed.

By the way this forum is about Trump's investigation and his war room.  Do you even know who Steve Bannon is?  He is running Trump's war room and he is the one who convinced him to drop out of the accord.  He also is Trump's puppeteer.  Your eyes may be open, but you don't see reality.  At this point as I told you before, I could care less about Hillary losing the vote.  But I am concerned about the well being of this country with an incompetent president who is the laughing stock of the rest of the free world. To me the words Trump and President are an Oxymoron, in more than one way.

  8. peoplepower73 profile image90

ahorseback:  Your focus is in the past.  Talk about pointing fingers.  You are a master at it.  Trump is his own worst enemy.  He contradicts himself at almost everyone of his statements.  His tweeter feed has left a bread crumb trail of his ineptitude and his guilt.  I will give him credit though for being a master at deception, distraction, and diversion.  He has taught his surrogates to do the same thing. His latest tweet about "covfefe" was done intentionally.  His next tweet was, "try to figure out what it means, enjoy." And the whole world took their attention off of the investigation...Brilliant, but a huge distraction.

His staff has a hard time keeping up with his every twist and turn. Now he wants to do away with press briefings. He wants to make them himself.  That's what a dictator does.  You should be very proud of his name calling. It is the same thing you do.

Again, your are wasting your breath trying to analyze me.  I could care less about the condition of the DNC.  Trump to me is a fake that is way in over his head.  His wall is stalled, his travel ban is stalled, the repeal and replace of Obama Care that was supposed to take place immediately is stalled, and so are his jobs.  Only 158,000 were created last month.  He has hired people on his staff who are tainted with Russian connections.  That is not very smart.

He wrote a flurry of executive orders that were proclamations.  None of them required legislation. The republican congress does not know how to pass legislation.  However they are very good at holding hearings and attacking the other side.  They did it for eight years with Obama as McConnel's mission was to make Obama a one term president. Talk about obstruction.  They are masters at it.  How many times did they cause the government to be shutdown? Now they are doing it again with the subpoenas for Obama's people who they are accusing of unmasking...again, distraction, diversion, and deflection from the real investigation.
