This roundtable meeting was very impressive. Most all top CEO was present and gave their opinion on the direction of our government and of industry...
How many will give him and his daughter and son-in-law the credit for getting this moving?
When was the last time a sitting president has reached out to industry leaders to ask for their opinion and their help and viceversa?

Noticeably absent was Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook and Elon Musk of Tesla...
They missed out of a big opportunity in my opinion.
Was climate change and the Paris accord that important to them? That they choose to sit this out?
    How childish was that?

Yes, in the real world climate is very, very important. By the real world, I mean that realm outside of the American right.

In any other country, climate deniers are confined to a tiny minority of cranks.

So, why would anyone attend a meeting that offers nothing but delusions?

In the real world, climate change is a theory and the dire consequences are what is being debated. The idea that anyone disagree with what is proposed is automatically a denier is simplistic and dishonest. There are skeptics like my self who have studied the issue at depth and have real problem with the proposed solution of reducing fossil fuel usage. These green energy alternatives have not lived up to the hype. We are spending resources to offset carbon when the people calling for these reductions are not behaving the same.

The debate was over twenty years ago when it became apparent natural cycles could not explain the observed facts.

Given the weight of the climate data it is downright foolish to say, there are technical difficulties, so we should give up. Do you really want to bequeath endless misery to succeeding generations?

Really?  Temperatures are nowhere the top, or the bottom, of what the planet has seen in the past - if it wasn't nature doing it, and there were no people to commit the "crime", what DID do it?

Some false naratives that people like you buy into...
            1. Peak oil - gas will be $8 a gallon, here in NY it is $2.55 per gallon.
            2. some parts of the world will be below sea level such as miami Fl.
            3. Hurricanes will be more frequent and more intense - we have not had a category 5 storm in 10 years.
            4. The poles will melt and glaciers will disappear?
            5. Polar bears will be extinct - meanwhile they are thriving in 2017.
            6. Carbon credits will be the way of the future.

Every projections made by IPCC has been grossly exaggerated.
When will people realize that they been had?

What a genius move on President Trump's part to upgrade the digital infrastructure.

“Our goal is to lead a sweeping transformation of the federal government’s technology that will deliver dramatically better services for citizens, stronger protection from cyber-attacks,” Trump said during a roundtable meeting at the White House.

Would this put an end to the leaking of classified information by traitors?
