Russia has been in the News and in our Headlines more than they have ever been, even during the very lengthy Cold War!
They must be feeling so very flattered with all of this endless attention.

The last news I saw on Russia was about their nuclear train which can deploy 6 nuclear warheads at a time. That's real rock star stuff. I suppose you are standing up holding a lighter in the air, waiting for an encore.

Exactly. Russia is bad News, but I think our News Media focuses on them, much too much. Of course, the Media must report on stories coming out of Russia, but they don't need to give them attention, they're not deserving of.   No lighters for me.

The facts underlying the Prevezon case—including the death of Sergei Magnitsky, the Russian lawyer who uncovered the fraud, in a Russian prison—led to the passage of unprecedented sanctions against the Russian officials thought to be complicit.

Nevertheless, two days before trial was set to begin, the Department agreed to settle this $230 million case for less than $6 million and no admission of wrongdoing. Ms. Veselnitskaya told one Russian news outlet that the penalty was so light that it seemed “almost an apology from the government.”

      More cartoons....yay
Donald Jr. didn't make the wisest decision taking the meeting.
      Novice? Definitely.
      Rookie mistake? Yes.
I think he has learned his lesson. There is no room for rookie mistakes.....not when you're a Republican.....not when you're named Trump.
