Hello all,
I published a new article "Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In: The Complete Series Box Set-DVD Review" over the weekend, and don't see it listed in Google, Yahoo, and Bing search engines. My past articles have been in the search engines fairly fast. Any idea why the article isn't on the search engines yet? There aren't that many reviews of the set on the Net so far.
Thanks for the info,
Marshall
Not entirely sure if you mean that it's not indexed or that it's not ranking on page 1.
If it's the former, then try pinging your article. This usually helps to get it indexed but don't abuse the process. I'm also assuming that your article is featured and doesn't have a no follow tag which tells search engines not to index it.
Good luck!
Bev,
Thanks for the reply.I appreciate it. It's just a few years ago, the hubs I wrote would get in the search engines pretty fast.
Thanks again,
Marshall
Your hubs may or may not be in google.
They might also fluctuate, in and out.
Only featured hubs have the possibility of being indexed.
If your hub is not featured, it will be what is called, "noindex"
by hub and will signal google to not index it.
Not sure if most people know this.
If your new hub is not featured, or becomes unfeatured, it will not be in google.
You can either what for the Google spiders to find it, or submit it yourself https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools … -url?pli=1
How can we find out if our featured article has a non-follow link?
The article is now on Google. Thanks again psycheskinner and everyone else here in this discussion.

I hope somebody can help. I now have 49 hubs, and yet not one of them are seen by the search engines. When I click on their stats, it says under 'search phrases,' no search terms to add.(list of words that appear commonly in searches that bring visitors to your hub.)It seems that all my hubs need...

I thought if a hubpage was listed in Google search it was featured. But apparently that is not the truth. I guess I will keep the hubs up and run my own check on them.

I'm in the process of migrating my content from my blog to HubPages and just transferred an article titled "Top 50 Men's Grooming Blogs for 2014." I just switched this article to HubPages a few moments ago (using a 301 redirect). I'm already on the first page of google for the key term...

I just realized that my Hubs get absolutely no views from Bing and Yahoo; however Google on the other hand still happens to send around 400 a day. Any idea why this is happening? One particular hub actually ranks extremely well on Google and gets me 50% of my traffic, I just searched for similar...
