   Hi Hubbers,
   
   I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article Make Candles That Make Money!. What can I do to improve? Thanks!..I had added a few Amazon links I have since removed them after receiving a negative message??  I am new to this and confused aren’t you supposed add links to Amazon??  Why does it give you the opportunity to do that should only be one instead of two links?

      Here are my suggestions:
      
      1) Minus the very first photo, there's nothing but text for quite awhile. Find a way to break it up, whether it's with a photo, video, table, or bullet points.
      2) To help in this, I'd remove the "why you should read this guide" section.
      3) Often new Hubbers have too little in their articles, but here I'd say you can get a bit wordy. Consider removing sentences like "You are going to have so much fun learning this new craft"
      4) Remove extra white space between paragraphs and pictures.
      
      The last part of the article is where I'd say you formatted best. You've got a callout, picture, bullet points, etc. Just watch for extra space and paragraphs that should be trimmed down.
      
      As for Amazon links, only put them in when they're truly relevant to your Hub and you have personal experience with the product to discuss; otherwise they come across as a sales pitch. Best of luck!

         Thank you for clearing up the Amazon issue.  I will happily take any advice you have to offer. I have seen your work and it is impressive.  I found your pages to be fantastic looking and insanely compelling .  There were so many interesting topics I didn’t know which one to click first

            Thanks Tammy! Yes, I delve into many topics, but most Hubbers find a niche and stick with it. Let us know if you ever need more help.

   Hi,
   I have observed that your hub is too wordy. The first few paragraphs are unecessarily lengthy and not to the point. I got lost and confused reading them.
   The use of colorful fonts (the one we use for title and headings) is too much that it looks awkward and distracts attention. So does the bold fonts.
   I find this sentence 'Today candle making has never been simpler or easier to master.' grammatically incorrect.

   Hi there,
   
   I agree with Pen, you need to calm down the formatting and make your hub look less like a novelty blog post. You can't use headers as paragraph text, HubPages just won't allow it. Think elegant and restrained So lose the bold text - less is more. That also applies to exclamation marks. You don't need them in a non-fiction piece.
   
   Some parts of your text have been copied word-for-word from another site ("Adding fragrance oil at too low of a temperature may prevent the fragrance oil from disbursing and binding uniformly in the melted wax."The Flaming Candle). Never, ever do that. It's plagiarism, so rewrite anything you have copied and pasted.
   
   Your photos are a bit dodgy - not terribly good quality. You haven't cited their source and one is repeated. You can only use photos that are legal to use, i.e. your own, Creative Commons licensed, or in the Public Domain. This is very important - you can't republish photos from places like Pinterest.
   
   It's a very long hub so think about perhaps turning it into two or more separate hubs. You could have a whole candle recipe niche thing going on as it is obvious you know what you are talking about. Don't just write one when you can write ten
   
   I also agree that you could probably give it a good hard pruning to lose some of the rambling text.
   
   It's 'waxes' not 'wax's' No apostrophe in the plural.
   
   One thing I will say, it's refreshing to read a how-to that someone has put a lot of work into and written in a nice easy-going style.

      Thank you so much for taking your time to read the article!!  Especially since it is very lengthy.  I have only just begun with Hubpage but am already very familiar with your articles there wonderful!!  You have picked up on the fact that I do love candle making and have experience..  Unfortunately due to an illness I cannot physically do that anymore..  So I’m hoping to put my knowledge to some use..

   Jeremy, I have to correct you there.  Most Hubbers definitely do NOT find a niche and stick with it.
   
   If you are going to write your own blog,then it's absolutely imperative to find a niche and stick with it.  It 's completely unnecessary on HubPages.

      I'm not saying it's necessary, but I've found most Hubbers generally write about one or two broad topics (movie reviews, gardening, psychology, etc.), perhaps stretched out over two or three niche sites.

         Do bear in mind that a lot of Hubbers are probably invisible to you - because they don't interact on the forums or follow others.
