As a conservative who have voted Republican most of my political elections, it is time to ask the tough question. What does the party stand for?
They have asked for our vote to win back the House in 2010, they have asked the voters to get back the Senate in 2014 and they have won the White House in 2016. What else do they need?
If they can't get tax reform done, when the vast majority of Americans support some form of tax teform, then, it is clear these people are clueless. These career politician and advisors and K street types are incompetent. They have no business being in a position of power. Sorry, you are losers.

We can stick a fork in both the Democrats and Republicans.

The Senate Majority Leader has an 18% approval rating in his own home state according to some articles.  Time for him to retire.

There are some grassroots campaigns by outsiders gaining momentum, they are swamp drainers. The populous movement is gaining steam.

I feel the frustration, but keep the faith.

The GOP party stands for anti-conservative values, if you look at the tired, old guard...mccain, ryan, boehner, mcconnel, et. al. They did not nix the iran deal, they funded planned parenthood, they could not repeal obamacare, they don't want a wall, they let obama break the constitution many times, gave the irs a pass, let the nsa and clapper off the hook, let hillary off the hook,.... man, you'd think they turned democrat! Seems that the only thing they hate, is a man who would love to change that: Trump. I think most republicans are like me. They don't care that trump is blowing the party up. I men seriously. What have the old guard done? A big fat nothing. Remember trump got a deal done with democrats..... I suspect more will follow.

    I agree Stephen.
I think the last time I called myself a Republican, Reagan was the President.
I am Conservative, I initially chose Ted Cruz and then settled for Donald Trump. He has surprised me, the way he sticks to his guns, in the midst of much hate coming from both sides of the saloon.....or um....aisle.
If it wasn't evident before that there's a dug-in establishment consisting of members of both Parties, it certainly is, Since Trump.
Since Trump...S.T. may be a new way to mark time and the demise of both Parties. One is hopeless, one needs to get it together and quickly!
