Please, fellow Hubbers, help me out.

For a while now I have attached a tap onto the side of my portfolio, dribbling out poetry (old and new) but now I have run dry. I have become so bored that I have actually started writing a play...but since I cannot post that online I am appealing to you to help me out here. Just please, any ideas, even if it's a single word. Anything is good.

I mean, I've gotten so dry that I have actually written a poem on not being able to write poems due to no inspiration. It's shockingly bad.

    Damn these school holidays!

    Your friendly fat kid...

    Luke

      An experiment:

Three pronged attack for slaying the imp Rye Tearz'b Lok~

(Take heed and care at each Point, for the forces of entropy and dispersion are potent to derail Thee at each; to complete the operation Ye must verily complete the circle of which I shall write)

      1) Go forth and walk. Nowhere in particular, just go & wander upon a safe route. This is assuming such action would be fairly safe -- though danger is always a mighty story-coaxer, such drastic actions are not usually required, nore will I recommend them. For this working it is enough to remove yourself from the habitual realm.

If you may not safely leave, go lock yourself in the bathroom and continue--

      2) As you wander (or sit alone, as the case may be,) allow the mind to drift. No navel gazing, just allow your gaze and mind to slowly drift as you take the route. Observe the first thoughts with amusement -- such may be "this is silly", or "wtf?" or some other natural novelty. Direct your mind then to simply observe the next series of thoughts. Continue in this as you walk-- or sit.

      3) Return to the abode, having safely directed yourself home. Write what has presented itself to the mirror of you thoughts.

Hey Luke, You will never run dry!  Many people publish books here, chapter by chapter, why not publish a play, scene by scene?  I think that would be wonderful!  smile

One day I was in that state and I looked at my toothpicks on the table. Another day I recalled chasing a chicken for supper around the glen. I wrote about both instances, creatively speaking.

I have been pondering a story about a woman who finds a human arm while digging in her garden.  I can't seem to figure anything beyond that.  I know where you are coming from.  I have these little tidbits, but nothing is flourishing.

I think we are more like kindred spirits.  I have always had a dark side.  You would be surprized at some of the topics that float around in the abyss of my darkness. lol

You could always write about running out of ideas during the school holidays?  Ten Boring Things I Did This Summer To Add to My Teenage Hell?  If not take Mark's advice and stick to sex.
