oh well....my 90 was fleeting...it went down in just an hour...I enjoyed it though...
I know I was a 90 for about 5 minutes and went back down to 89.
I've never been as high as you all, but mine is falling hard and fast! Its rather depressing.
Mine is on its way back up I am glad to say but still lower than I normally am!
Bard, Paul was saying that they will come up at the rate of about one score point per hour. I know you may have seen it, just making sure....
I hadn't seen that but mine is back to what used to be its lowest score but by yesterday's figure it is wonderful! It appears to be on the up again though very slowly!
Mine's going down at that rate I am a bit peeved because I've worked my butt off this last week on new hubs and improving some of my others.....seems like wasted effort since my hubber score is now well below what is was.
Good to see yours back up Bard! I was over the moon yesterday as mine went up to 97, today it's 89! Something weird is going on for sure....
I wouldn't worry too much about the hubberscore or the hubscore on individual hubs. But if the traffic goes down on my hubs I will be concerned.
Best Regards
The main reason I was concerned is that I have done a number of interviews with various people and to have a high score on your profile is far more likely to entice someone into spending time answering interview questions than if there is a low figure there!
Makes sense Bard of Ely.
I remember getting a lot of invitations for interviews when I was at the perfect 100 score for weeks on end long back. But I never responded to them, including the newsletter interview. Perhaps i should have.
All the Best Bard.
SunSeven, I always respond to interviews and make time for them because I need all the publicity I can get. Reversing the flow though if I am trying to interview people to create new hubs that will hopefully generate traffic then I need to show the interviewees why they would want publicity here. If they have a look at the site and see a low score they are not likely to be impressed. I know that interviews can bring in a lot of traffic especially if the person is already a celebrity of some sort or an expert on a specialised topic. My interview with slip model Lady Phenie has been an example of getting consistently high traffic.
My traffic is still the same, but my hubscore has gone from 100 yesterday to 86 today!
I've dropped also from 95 to 80 in one day. It's probably a glitch (I hope).
I dropped from 95 to 93 last night, and this morning it's 83!
Mine was 99 yesterday morning, and today has dropped like a stone. I feel so unloved! (OK, so I exaggerate a litlle, but it was a big surprise....)
OK. Deep sigh of relief. Everything back to normal now. Phew!
Mine bounces like a ping-pong ball, no worries it will even out and I see Bard that your score is now a nice 100 congratulations!!!
Thank you, AEvans! Yes, I am back on top again now! woohoo!
My second last article started off at 49 and is now 44 after 18 views. Hopefully, it will start to rise soon... I am used to them going down but not usually that low so quickly
Sun Seven, imagine all the traffic you would get if you could get an exclusive interview with some top celebrity! Yes, hard to do I know, but you would get more traffic than you have ever had! I would like to think I can make my hub a place where people would want to be featured because of the publicity it would give them and I am sure that if mine has a poor score then they wouldn't want to bother.
hehehe as of now your score good ol man is 100 again. I also experienced that hmm just few days ago as my score dipped to as low as 86 whew from 91. so far im hitting 93 my highest in 5 weeks being here in hubpages.
Keep on hubbing General and Emie and you will surely go on up!
Hubscores are wierd. I will never understand why grown ups are so concerned about these things. I feel it myself. It's disapointing.
My dog loves a pat on the head but at least its a living hand. A pat on the head from a robot? Why should I care? Unfortunately, I do. That damned human condition just won't go away. I'm working on it.

I was shocked this morning that despite posting a new hub last night my hub profile score had dropped from 96 down to 88. I posted in Hubber's Hangout and it turns out that I am not alone because other hubbers have their scores going down and some are reporting by a figure of at least 8 same as...

After 6 months on the site i've started the really wonder how many backlinks is a reasonable number to any hub, and really to a hub becoming successful? Or is it simply a lottery. What kind of figures do other hubbers consider?

Pretty much without exception my Hub score will drop two, three or more points within an hour or two of first posting a Hub. Then it gradually, eventually goes up again. For example, today, March 31, 2011, I posted a Hub and my score dropped like a rock three points. I don't understand this. I...

I thought I knew the answer to this question. But something interesting happened in the last week which I found it hard to explain. I'd be interested to hear opinions.I have a hub which is nine months old and had just reached 250-300 hits per day.I was experimenting to see how many tags I could use...

I recently got my lowest score ever for a book review on Kate Chopin's novel, The Awakening.Anyone want to give me some feedback? Usually my scores start around 50 and go up as I construct the hub.The entire review is my original writing. I didn't copy any text.

This really isn't a problem, but rather something I am interested in finding out. I have a few unpublished hubs with little to no content in them, and the thing is, one of these hubs outranks one of my published hubs! I am wondering why that happens and if it is any indication of how good the hub...
