Hey folks, I'm paranoid, so I thought I would ask this. I got more clicks on my ads yesterday than I have combined so far, and I was wondering if I could see where the clicks originated from (IP or at lease geographical area). I noticed my income doubled (from about 50 cents to a whole dollar) and I'm concerned... Can I track this in adsense? If not, can I track it in analytics?
Yes it is seen in analytics but my analytics have not tracking down of who and where does my clicks comes from.
Sure it does! Theres a big map of the world, click on the continents that are highlighted, then it shows little circles of where visitors came from, click on those and it gives you city names and numbers of people(amount of)
from those cities
Thanks! I don't know WHY I didn't think of that, but I didn't. Just what I needed
I followed the instruction already but how come it only shows zero zero visit and clicks. I don't know whats wrong.
You may want to check my hub, http://hubpages.com/hub/HubPages-And-Go … oming-From
Analytics gives you most of the details about the traffic sources, visitors etc but I don't think you can figure out who clicked on your ads. How does it matter as long as you are not losing anything?
It was just a large number of clicks for one day, and I wanted to make sure none of my friends were 'helping'... If you know what I mean
Isolated fraudulent clicks won't probably trigger the adsense program to flag your account.
Well, I am less worried now. 2 seem to have come from google searches, 2 from yahoo searches, and 1 from site I have never heard of...
Speaking of suspicious clicks, I had one visitor to one of my hubs, and 4 clicks...!
Either that person is really stupid or they're trying to get me banned. Hmm, not cool.
I believe that Adsense ads are automatically displayed in a new window, so they may have clicked on it and opened up a new window, only to decide after closing that window that they liked another ad. Whilst it is weird to have more clicks than page views, it has also happened to me on a couple of days on particular hubs when I may have one page view but two clicks.
I hope that was the case for me- customer clicking around trying to find the right thing, using my hub as...er....a hub of information.
A 4-to-1 ratio just smells fishy to me. Hopefully it's all good and no foul play is at hand.

I have seen where having an adsense in the top left of a website gets alot of clicks. That pretty square blog at the right towards the middle of the hubpage should be moved to the top left. There would be more clicks. Or could you test it on some hubs. Try mine first, lol.

WhatI realize from reading other hubbers is that traffic and clicks depend on 'evergreen' topics, knowledge, interest, luck, precise keywords for search engines, satisfying needs...

I've been a member of Hubpages for 2 months, but I've really only been actively making Hubs for about 4 weeks, and I got my first clicks yesterday. It was a total of 3 clicks, and I got $2.06 for the whole package. Apparently I'm targeting the right keywords...I've recently also seen a...

What can I do to try to increase the percentage of people who click on ads? So far 1 out of about 175 people has clicked on an ad (and I think it was a friend of mine...)
