Yeah, well, the Obama admin seems to really like following in Germany's footsteps - especially those of the 1930's.

Oh I agree, Hitler's Germany was extremely efficient.

Really?  Just about anyone else would be preferable.  Seriously though, we could do worse than follow in Thomas Jefferson's footsteps.

What a wonderful suggestion. Amazing how "Pres O" hasn't figured that out yet.

The Cash for Clunkers criminal giveaway won't be nearly as bad as the speculation that will come from the Cap and Trade Fiasco.  Are you aware that as the number of sunspots dwindle on the surface of the sun, the earth is mysteriously cooling?  It's an inconvenient truth that since An Inconvenient Truth came out the global temperature has dropped an average of one degree or so.  In the Northeast of the US, this has been the coldest summer on record since we were in the Little Ice Age.  I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's not the greenhouse gasses that determine our temperature, it's that giant ball of flame in the sky.

So what's the point?  Simple.  Rather than wasting money in stupid schemes like Cash for Clunkers or Cap and Trade, we need to focus on important things like getting the economy back on a sound footing.  It won't happen seeing as people are ignorant of basic science and economics.

Shame you have every fact wrong. For the average global temperature to either rise or fall by a whole degree in a single year would require a massive environmental event like a major meteorite strike. Some reliable data below from http://www.metoffice.gov.uk

Hey they were both socialist countries.  It just so happens that Hitler was a piker compared to Stalin.

That was their "pretty" name. They were actually totalitarian dictatorships complete with death camps and gulags. But hey, that could never happen here so - no worries.

Sorry Misha, I read such a lot of nonsense in these forums, sometimes I am moved to point out the obvious.
