if you could make you own god what would it do and say?
it creates it's own world and people too, if it wants people
and creatures?
this will be hard for some because they do not believe in a creator though.
I consider the undertaking a bit crazy. Um, "I am that I am?"
It is hard for some people to do because they don't have the hubris or psychosis necessary in which to do so. How about we leave all that to pre-history, where it belongs?
I could come up with a "god" but not "God", the latter being well beyond the capacity of my limited human consciousness.
On the other hand, leave it to pre-history? Um, so divine concepts only carry validity if they're old and moldy?
Hunh.
No, what I'm saying (as I'm watching something similar on the Discovery channel), is that pre-historic and ancient civilizations had the tendency to think up mythological gods (Baal, Aten, Ceres, Jupiter, Thor, etc., etc.) in a kind of less sophisticated (though, OK, certainly at times poetic in ideation and certainly useful) conceptualization.
we still do the same thing today...just different names....we still worship all kinds of CRAP TOO!!!

On several hubs and forums, I see a lot of my fellow (to an extent) believers posting about how God give us the free will to do things our way, then on other hubs state that we must "Pray that God's will be done" in everything we do.. If we have to pray to God for his will to be done,...

Do parents own their children? This question can be interpreted in different ways; I'm open to reading what this means to everyone in their own personal responses. I've thought about this myself for years, first as an adolescent and now as a young adult. I've pondered it in different contexts and...

Would you help a person who was starving today? If you seen a homeless person on the ground would you help him or her up onto their feet, would you create a shelter if you had the money to do so for them, would you feed the hungry if you we're in a position to do so. Pondering questions, and if...

If so, why? If not, why? (I am not only talking to Christians, because they are not the only people who believe in Hell) Do you believe it justified, if it does exist (in your opinion)? If so, why?
