I am in a bad mood today.  I have had a terrible day at work and can't seem to get in a positive frame of mind.  I have to interact with patients the rest of the day and I can't take my day out on them.  Suggestions?  anyone know a good joke?  anything???

Here you go hunnixxx Three men were discussing aging at the nursing home. “Sixty is the worst age to be,” said the 60-year-old. “You always feel like you have to pee and most of the time, you stand at the toilet and nothing comes out.”

“Ah, that’s nothin’,” said the 70-year-old. “When you’re seventy, you can’t even crap anymore. You take laxatives, eat bran, you sit on the toilet all day and nothin’ comes out!”

“Actually,” said the 80-year-old, “eighty is the worst age of all.”

“Do you have trouble peeing too?” asked the 60-year-old.

“No, not really. I pee every morning at 6:00. I pee like a racehorse on a flat rock: no problem at all.” said the 80-year-old.

“Do you have trouble crapping?” asked the 70-year-old. “No, I crap every morning at 6:30.” the older man responded.

With great exasperation, the 60-year-old said, “Let me get this straight. You pee every morning at 6:00 and crap every morning at 6:30. So what’s so tough about being 80?”

      “I don’t wake up until 7:00”

you can just tell your patients that you are away to grow a blonde hair, and that you will be back when you are done:)

How did you know I was a blonde?  The patients would probably not understand that!

There are days and there are really days that will really put you in a bad mood and no matter what you do, you just have to wait them out until the bad mood disappears. Hope you'll get your good humor back before the day ends Ms Chievous.

By the way, your avatar is really something. I had to LOL when I saw it. That grin makes me wary to get near you LOL. You look ready to pounce. Hope you don't smile like that to your co-workers and patients. smile j/k

Think happy thoughts and laugh (hysterically if you have to... er try a private place). I don't have the time or the background to tell you all the psychological goodness that would bore you to tears, but in short, laughing makes you feel better chemically.

You could always try my poetic-humor site.  I don't know how funny the pages are, being too closely involved, but they seem to get about as many views as my Hubs do.
