I see a lot of hubber profiles who have a small number of hubs, but hundreds of fans. Does this really help my views or revenue?

It may help your views but not necessarily your revenue.

Everyone say it increases your pageviews, then maybe it also raises your potential for more revenues.

Yup. If nothing else --- hubbers are good for keeping visitors from getting untargeted "desi bikini aunties"/scientology ads by visiting them before someone else does

Just your author score. Which has nothing to do with Google. If you want some real money keep writing don't stop for anything and follow some SEO guidelines, ignore your author score as long as it is about 75 you are good.

75 means your links are dofollow, which is a must. Besides its too easy to keep it above this score

    Agreed, don't worry about fans.
Like Dangazzm said, keep writing with an eye towards SEO.
Fans are nice, don't get me wrong.
But don't let that bother you.

Fans don't necessarily read your hubs anyway, at least not all of them.

It's nice to have someone in your corner on HP, though.

It may help your views, if in fact they are reading your hubs.

As for revenue, one would expect, even hope, that they aren't clicking on your ads.

It will help your views.  What I like about fans are those who comment on my hubs, they seem generally sincere in their comments.  I like feedback from other authors.
