If we had the choice right now, this very day!
To chose between what is set before us.
And we have to make this choice again tomorrow and everyday after.
1) *Life and living?
2) **Knowledge of evil and good?
3) Would you want to know more or have life and live?
4) Would you be happy to live or curious to know what you did not know?
*Knowing that you can live forever without the extra knowledge and that you could multiply and fill the earth and rule over it all like a king and queen.
**Knowing that you will know more, but not live as long.
Pick one.
at the moment from my heart i am saying that i just want to live, no matter whether living long or short
Shiyloh says:
Chose love and you have chosen life that you might live long.
No, people just want to blame God instead !
Perspectives are the main focus of my response. Have you ever had a day, where everything you planned goes exactly as such? Your reasoning is what makes some days seem different from the next. Uncertainty makes us consider the good/bad; curious minds live life to see what factors in to alter our course. Not knowing what's edible in a different land, how would you find substance?
Would you find a way to communicate with the locals, or would you eat whatever palm puts to mouth?
Seems like nobody really wants to make a choice but would rather bicker and complain and blame.
First, I have no wish whatsoever to multiply, fill the Earth, and - on top of it all - "rule over it all like a king or queen".
With regard to the question in general, I think there has to be the assumption that I would be without brain damage or mental illness that would prevent me from knowing the difference between good and evil? Because, unless people have a certain type of brain damage/lack of development or else mental illness, I don't believe it's possible for mentally healthy/undamaged people to live and not know the difference between good and evil. So, I'd probably pick living a long time and bringing the inevitable knowledge of the difference between good and evil along through my life.
As far as knowing more versus not really knowing what I don't know goes, the world is full of people who don't know stuff, don't know what they don't know, and are happy.
So my choice is to live a long time with whatever knowledge I have or don't have or will pick up along the way, without ruling anybody and CERTAINLY without doing too much multiplying. I'm not a giant egotist nor control freak. I hate the word, "rule" (within the context it's being used).
So you have chosen to not live forever?
By the way, you do rule. You rule you!!!
See, if you had to pick...you won't because there is nothing to bitch about!!!
Having trouble keeping yet another loaded religious thread going, so you take to talking to yourself. People are over the fundamentalists here! Get a life!
I just keep tossing it up because it's true!!!

What is the difference between knowledge and wisdom?
by Raymond D Choiniere 12 years ago
Just curious to get people's reactions, opinions, insight, knowledge or wisdom, so as to see if a barrier I see actually exists. The barrier? Is the ignorance(lack of knowledge) behind making them the same thing, when clearly they are not.Anyone want to take a shot at it?Knowing&BelievingThe...

Knowing what you know today, what would tell your younger self about life?Think back to when you were twenty or when you were a teenager. What would tell your younger self about life?
