i would buy a bunch of land in Montana and build a really cool compound like the kennedys, only the houses would be very minmal, designed by Master Architect Tadao Ando and built with materials from the surrounding land, like granite, etc. and they would be fully appointed inside with the latest technologies. i would build a studio for my son and stock it with cool guitars and a very nice set of drums, and recording equipment. i would open a bunny rescue, with a crisis nursery right next door, as children and bunny rabbits are very important to me. i would finally get that Bentley i wlays wanted...then i would stash the rest of the money and devote my time to everything i just mentioned.

After going on  a crazy shopping spree, I would go to the places I have worked in the past (treatment centers with kids and mentally ill) and make a sizable donations to them!

Wow this hub renews my belief in human nature. Ok, most of us would do a few indulgent things with our money,  but our main focus is our family and charity. It is healthy to do nice things for yourself ,but it always feels incredibily great to do things for someone else. Nothing makes me happier than giving my friends and relatives things that they want I know will make them happy. I found a black Prada handbag in the boutique at good will. It was a nice bag, I have no idea if it was a reproduction or not. I gave it to my college aged niece who could never afford a designer bag. I made me more happy , then I think it did her , she loved the bag . It was the best $10 I have spent lately. Silly thing ... uplifting result.

Oh doing this would be great. Much more important than used handbags. I worked in a group home for dual diagnosed this population really needs resources, great idea for the imaginary wind fall.

I would give family members money, get me a house, a car, a life, medical care, a garden, animals and bunches of things.

I would help out someone who is poor in the community.  I would find a poor person and buy them a house, car, pay their bills etc...

    1. College scholarships for the 5 grandkids.
    2. Purchase a house for my youngest daughter and her 3 kids.
    3. Give 10% to my church (and most likely more on top of that for community outreach).
    4. Make a literature tour of England, visiting the birthplaces of famous authors.
    5. Buy a house

I'd buy a couple of truck loads of food for the local food bank, (I'm told they are really hurting for donations right now).

So let HP handle it. No point in duking it out in the forums.

Thing that annoys me is if I spot a weirdo I get accused of being on  the rum and cheers for that Maddie !

Its not if you spot one, its if you take the matters into your own hands smile

Ok Cole imagine a girl emailing you every day pretending to be a man. Also stalking you on the site would you just sit back and let it happen ?

      1. Colebabie profile image61
Colebabieposted 14 years agoin reply to this

Nope. I have it set so I can't get e-mails. And if something like that did happen, I would forward the e-mails to HP and let them handle it.

Well I applaud you, and as for HP staff handling it, how by saying stay off the rum, sorry but I was stalked Maddie !

I don't like being called a drunk by Maddie Rudd when in truth I was being stalked !

      1. Colebabie profile image61
Colebabieposted 14 years agoin reply to this

So rather than trying to handle it yourself, and getting a forum shut down for "personal attacks" just give it over and let them handle it. I know Maddie didn't mean anything by it. I'm sure if you contacted them form the beginning with an issue, and didn't take it into your own hands they'd be happy to oblige.

But hey let the stalker have the last laugh, to be honest the site has been backing the troublemakers for ages

Cole I am deleting as BadCo as well, if anyone asks you know why and I know it may seem petty to you but for me to be told to stay off the rum whilst being stalked is the ultimate insult from someone I totally respected. Kinda happy you are the last person I talk to because you really are one really nice woman, anyways don't let anyone speak bad off me, bye Cole x

I'll go ahead and start the topic back up (vroom vroom).

I would pay off my school loans and make sure everyone in my family was financially sound, then I would invest. I would take my time and make sure my investments were A+ and then I would go about setting up and running a charitable organization that runs partially off of the interest from an investment made specifically for the organization and the rest from donations.... and of course make sure I went on plenty of vacations.

I would pay off my family's houses for them.  Give each one a sizeable amount of money and donate to a local charity.  I would also get rid of my house and move to the country and get my Great Danes back.  I would also get my son a laptop and all the accessories he wants.  I would definately buy a new vehicle as well.

I would build a staircase to heaven so I could see my Mom and Dad again.

Then if there was anything left I would install a ramp going up to my front door and get one of those 3 wheeled electric scooters and never walk again.
