My slideshow has copies of all the photos on my hub, but I only want it to have some of my photos. It didn't matter so much for my first hub, but for my second hub I want a slideshow of 5 photos for Astronaut A, then slideshow of 5 photos for Astronaut B, and finally slideshow of 5 photos for Astronaut C. I don't want a slideshow of 15 for each - that would not make sense.

What I wanted on my first hub was a set of 5 photos in my slideshow and single photos in the rest of the hub.

By the way, is there a way to make a link to get out of the  the slideshow easier? Since I had 13 photos in it, the slideshow looks like a dead end with no way out unless people get to the end.

If anyone has ideas, I would love suggestions. Thank you.

    Carol

Carol, my immediate reaction is - this should be three separate Hubs, one for each astronaut.  Problem solved.

Your first Hub, as a few people commented, also has the potential to be split into separate Hubs, provided each text section is amplified with more detail.

I usually find that if there's something I can't do on HP, it's because there's a better way of doing it.  This is a good example!

A slideshow for a Hub will include all images on that Hub.  If you want to only have five photos be in the slideshow, there have to only be five images on the Hub.

If you really , really cared - you could create a powerpoint presentation, get a free converter that will change the powerpoint to a youtube compatible file, upload to youtube - than embed your own videos instead

Probably a  little more involved than you wanted, but you could do it in under a half hour

    there is always a way!

Photos that are less than 200 pixels wide, or less than 150 pixels high won't be included in slide shows.  It's a bit of a hack, but you could re-size the photos you don't want to appear so that they aren't included.  I've added giving more control over the photos that appear to our features under consideration list, but I can't say when or if we'll actually do it (it's a pretty long list).

Those are interesting ideas. I may try the sizing. And maybe - maybe - if I have time on my hands I will look at sunforged's powerPoint Youtube idea. Thanks for all your help.
