Let us observe the behavior of the left-wing anarchistic nutbars in Pittsburgh vis-a-vis the behavior of the right-wing Nazi Tea Party Homemakers who recently assembled in Washington.
Pittsburgh assembles law enforcement and boards up storefronts. Washington observes that the lawns were cleaner after the peaceable assembly.
"Left wing anarchistic" - isn't that a bit of an oxymoron?
They are not fans of the Democrats, unlike the Tea Baggers who are most certainly fans of the Republicans.
Truly, livelonger, you do not do enough reading about the TEA party people. From my perspective, most TEA party people are not for the republicans, now, because they learned a hard lesson from the Bush years. Having learned that lesson well, they see it all too clearly with the current administration.
yes, some few TEA party people are right wing-nuts, but most are not. Having learned the lesson, on Constitutional Freedoms and found their "voice" (those that were the "God-centered silent majority), this majority of TEA party people are speaking up and learning a lot...some of which is how to "enlighten the "wing-nuts" because they are giving an easy excuse to the Left to call all TEA partiers nuts.
Well, it just isn't so...the democrats and the republicans cannot use that simple minded excuse to ignore the Constitution any longer.
I'm sorry but I don't believe you for a second about this. Again, if there were one similar protest at Bush's insane spending, and similar bashing of Bush/Republicans as there is of Obama/Democrats, then you'd have a point. But there hasn't so you don't.
And if the issue were only fiscal responsibility, then they'd simply be partisans (for ignoring Republican spending but harping on Democratic spending). But they can't even manage to be that. So many signs are about Obama not really being an American, veiled threats of violence, and other ridiculous nonsense. And the fact that the GOP and its media arm, Fox News, proudly cheer them on says something very sad about the state of today's Republican party and its priorities.
Are you a TEA party patriot? Do you spend time online in discussion forums with them? Do you monitor/read the many "right" forums, blogs and websites of the new organizations and constitutional perspectives? Have you ever been a Christian since you have been an adult?
These are just a few of the questions that if you answered yes to any of, then you might have a leg to stand on saying what you have said.
Oh, but the most important question is...are you me and have the daily experiences I have being a part of the other above questions?
My point has been made...you have your limited opinion, I have an opinion of experience concerning the TEA party people
The answer to all of these is "no" but I don't see how some of them (the last, in particular) are in any way relevant. Since I am not one of them, I can see them with far greater objectivity than you can.
I don't see how you have to be a tea bagger or an evangelical Christian to see and interpret the signs that many of them have been carrying and to realize how either partisan or bigoted they must be to carry them.
Never claimed to be you. I don't need to be you to say that the tea baggers are being utter hypocrites if they are suddenly interested in fiscal responsibility now that a Democrat is in the White House. If you can't see that, it's because you clearly lack objectivity in the matter.
If the intent is to say the anarchists are the left wing's nutbag fringe like the tea baggers are the right wing's nutbag fringe, then that's not true.
The anarchists are protesting a Democrat president (do you remember the tea baggers protesting Bush's fiscal profligacy? neither do I), so it's safe to say they're neither Left nor Right but rather maybe a bit Outer Space.
Maybe its a steel city thing
Remember Billy Joels song ...and theyre closing all the factories down.....
cuz Im livin here in Allentown.
G-20
Gee whizz
"I'm an anarchist-communist who's here to show the G20 that they are not the only people whose lives they're affecting," said Martin Droll, a 20-year-old office worker from Philadelphia.
An anarchist-communist.

I think that's something akin to a fascist-socialist (i.e. calling Obama both Hitler and Stalin).
"The city has brought in 4,000 extra law enforcement officers -- some federal, some on loan from cities around the country."
If your house is burglarized this week and police response is less than optimal, thank the anarchist-communists in Pittsburgh.

If I were an alien , wait I am this is all I see all the hostile protesting
Behavior like that is exactly how they play in Afghanstan ,Pakistan. etc, in fact with the volume turned down ,it would look like any third world country shame
Ahh, my sister was up in Pitt for school, and her roommate and her hightailed it out of there last night before this crazy thing occurred.
And, from the looks of it...some crazyness happened.

The liberals seem okay with “Sanctuary Cities” where they protect illegal aliens against federal law. It's time liberals realize two can play that game. Many counties and cities around the country declared themselves “2nd Amendment Sanctuaries.” These are places that refuse to follow...
