Hmmm.. I always get a quick response when I email.  What seems to be the problem?  Perhaps we can help... that is, after all what this forum is for.

As for money, there's a current thread on this topic on the Hubber's Hangout Forum.  As I've stated there, I make around $10 a day on Adsense, and some additional commissions from Ebay and Amazon each month.

    Hi, welcome to hubpages.

While many people can answer your question, there are some current threads on this very topic going on right now.  I suggest you check out the forums and read a bit--you will easily find your answer, while learning a lot about the site and fellow hubbers.

    Best of luck.

To answer your question yes it is very possible to make money on hubpages.  It takes some time and you need to build high quality pages that visitors want to read.  The more pages you have the more money you can earn.  After having ten pages or so you should see some profits comming in from google.

How much you earn is really up to you and how many pages you create adn the quality of those pages.  Along witht he eBay, Amazon and google adsense income you can also place a few affiliate links in your pages for extra income.  Also if you are hoping to really make a good amount of money you might want to venture past just hubpages and build a blog and some other websites.  Often you want to be fairly diversified to keep money comming in and you don't want all your eggs in one basket.  However, that takes time to get to that level.  The best thing you can do to earn money is find something that works for you and earns a small amount of money and then keep replicating it.  Also find a topic you like so you don't grow board of writing about it.
