The choice never went away, you do it everyday.

We make the choice everyday between good and evil, life and death, blessing and cursing.

Who runs around blaming someone else for the choices they make?

The same choice exists today that did in the Garden of Eden.

We have a lot of things we can "eat from".....so what?

Amen. To say more would only dilute the point.

        Because the point is pointless.

The point seems to be that casting blame for having a pure choice between good and evil and life is like sniveling.

At least you live up to your name. To not examine does make everything pointless. Without challenge and dissent there is no foundation for belief. Even the most simple of questions offer the opportunity for perspective.

Christ! (Pun intended.) After my last post, let me know if you really care. I am drained from voicing an opinion that will fall on deaf ears already today. I pretty much follow George Berkeley's frame of experience.

NOOOOOOOOOO! Please do not confuse me with that bunch. I have many years of Catholic school and have been labeled and bullied enough by the church and outsiders. The Bible has many great points that breathe peace and sanity into life. I have just finished (hopefully) a lengthy debate where one of the said pains tried to bring religion into a secular conversation. Yes, I am Christian. Too well verse in the scripture to not be irritated by misrepresentation. Please excuse my point of view. I just thought the idea of people taking responsibility for these choices they preach are so wrong was rather refreshing. I care less where the rhetoric comes from. And Tantrum's "pointlessness" is too defeatist for me. Probably why I spent entirely too long debating something that will be misread, misinterpretation, misquoted, and an overall waste of time.

I think you believe it is wrong to have these choice bases on the things you post.

I don't believe they are wrong, I just don't believe in them. So what ?

Not in that choices. so elemental!  Like good and evil . Please! When I take a choice , it has to do with other matters, more complicated than those.
