When I first signed up for Adsense, I was adding my Hubs individually as channels, which worked.

I got a bit lazy, though, and only had about one third of my Hubs entered.  Then I saw Paul's advice to enter hubpages.com/* as a channel, which would then pick up everything.

I assumed that meant I would get data on all the individual url's, but all I'm getting is one figure for "hubpages.com".  Did I misunderstand?   Could I have put it in the wrong place?

It works like it's supposed to work. It will not give you a breakdown by every hub if you don't add them as individual channels. hubpages channel gives you aggregate traffic.

And I believe you are limited to 200 channels total.

I have hubpages.com as my channel. Works a treat. You then use Google Analytics to help you break that down by Hub.

Yeah, but if you add the channels individually the channels allow you to see what your top performing hubs are.

That's what I started doing but I fell badly behind.  Then I thought I'd read a post which said if you enter hubpages.com/* instead of just hubpages.com, it would pick up the traffic for all your hubs individually.

Obviously I got hold of totally the wrong end of the stick!

Yeah, I forgot you had to add them individually, so thanks for posting this! I went in and added some of my newest hubs.
It really doesn't take that long if you open another window. You can just click on your hubs in the My Account page and copy and paste. It won't take you much longer than all the typing you may do responding to comments or even starting this topis wink So, I'm encouraging you to do it.... big_smile

I am too lazy to create channels for my hubs even the top performing ones. I have hubpages channel and I'm trying to guess which hub earned me how much smile
