I've had a couple of broken links in the last couple of weeks, mainly due to youtube withdrawing video for copyright infringements.

The broken links feature here has saved me maintenance time on the two hubs that were involved.

The broken link notification is working very well. I was notified today that a link from one of my Hubs was no longer active. I fixed it in about 10 seconds.  Thank you HP for this algorithm that looks for broken links in Hubs.

How are you notified?  Just look at your "my account" tab for listings with a black triangle with an exclamation point in the middle of it, then click Broken Links under YOUR HUBS.

LOL...I just deleted the link. The Hub didn't really need it. But I know what you mean.

I love the feature too!  Sometimes I delete the link and sometimes I search for a replacement, but it sure is nice to know there is a problem.

The more 'content and richness' the more problems arise.  Good to know that hubpages have the link thing covered.  I have been informed a couple of times about broken links..  x
